The Cozy Cabin....Walk to Brighton ski slopes!
This incredible log cabin is nestled among the huge pine trees of Brighton, Utah. It is surrounded by by the beautiful Wasatch mountains, which make skiing and snowboarding in the winter extremely amazing. Brighton Ski Resort is 10 minutes walking distance, and Solitude Ski Resort is only a 5 minute drive. The snow up here is the greatest snow on earth! The Nordic Center is a 5 minute walk, and offers snow covered trails for cross country skiing or snow shoeing in winter, or hiking in the summer. Silver Lake is located here at the Nordic center, and offers amazing hiking trails, and great fishing in the Summer and Fall. Trout abound in this beautiful mountain lake, and is only a 5 minute walk. The cabin itself is secluded, and off the main road. It is totally remodeled recently with no expenses spared. All is new inside and out with the exception of the two story fireplace, and the full log walls. This beautiful cabin is full of charm. There is nothing more cozy than sitting in front of the fireplace on a frosty winter day.
Just a fun fact....The cabin was featured in the #1 rated Hallmark Christmas/holiday movie of all time. It's called "Christmas Under Wraps", starring Candace Cameron Bure'. Watch it before you stay here!
Moose and deer are a common sight right outside of the cabin as well as over at Silver Lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated and updated. It was very comfortable and cozy. Our favorite place was sitting outside among the pine trees, and a bonus was hearing the little creek. It is very close to Silver Lake which we went to several times. Even got to see some moose on our walks.

Great cabin and great location!
We absolutely loved our stay here. We were only minutes away from both Brighton and Solitude. The house was cozy, clean, and all around amazing

Lived up to Cozy Cabin title
Adorable cabin and very clean. Well-appointed with comfy bedding, nice towels and a great kitchen set up. Easy check in and check out!

The cozy cabin was great!
Loved our stay here! The cozy cabin was very cozy! Clean and well stocked with everything we needed! The walk to Brighton is a little further than we thought (maybe 13 min walk to the base) but we just drove over most days and it was fine! Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Great getaway
Everything was great with the property and we were able to relax and enjoy being away from home. We would love to come back.

A Dream Cabin
Our summer stay was wonderful! It's in a fantastic location just a couple minute walk to the lake, close drive to Park City or Salt Lake, great hiking close by, fully equipped with everything you need, and the beds are really comfortable!

We bought this old family cabin 10 years ago. It was in extreme disrepair. We have completely rebuilt it, keeping the parts that had tons of character like the two story stone fireplace and the whole log walls. We added dormers, a new roof, an entirely new kitchen and bathroom complete with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and granite tub surround.
We have filled it with all the amenites that anyone would want in a mountain getaway.

This cabin truly offers the best combination of the rustic beauty of a hand hewn log cabin with all the modern amenities. It was literally torn down to the four log walls and the chimney and rebuilt. In addition to being walking distance to the Brighton chairlifts and Solitude Nordic Center, you can ski back to the cabin if you don't mind taking a brief shortcut out of bounds from Brighton. During the Summer and Fall months you are within walking/hiking distance to several mountain lakes, like Silver Lake, Lake Mary, Lake Catherine, Lake Martha, and Twin Lakes.
