Decent stay
Cute rustic cabin. Everything worked properly. We only utilized the cabin to sleep. Ac unit was great at night. A little bare bones as far as stuff to use but we enjoyed our stay. The place could use a deep clean but it was good as far as cabins go.

Good overall. air conditioning unit so loud, we did not use. mouse in kitchen, ran from sink to hole in stove. When using washer, toilet leaked at bottom when flushing. Beds and pillows perfect. It was all we needed.

Cute cabin in a lovely location
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is much more of a cabin than the photos might imply, which was actually a good thing - it's cozy and rustic, but well set up. Beds were quite comfortable. The check-in process could have been more clearly communicated (it took us a while to figure out how to enter the door code, find the wi-fi password, get into the garage, and adjust the heat), but the house manager responded immediately to our questions and said that she was working on a welcome book with all that info - so this may be solved by the next guests. Though the house is close to other houses, the trees give a sense of privacy and peace. And the area is lovely - only a short walk to the lake, and a short drive to Higgins Lake State Park and hiking around Marl Lake.
