Great weekend away

The property was wonderful extremely clean and had everything we needed. Matthew was excellent he provided detailed information on how to get there and in on arrival and suggestions while we were there. I would thoroughly recommend this property for friends or families

Water View

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The home/duplex was comfortable and spacious for 4 ladies. Unfortunately for us to walk every day we had to take our car down to the waters edge as it was too steep to get back however, the location was good. The owner of the property was very easy to contact.

Spacious and bright

This is a lovely property and perfect for our needs; it was spacious and bright, great for a relaxing and social time. The kitchen was well appointed and this made it easy to prepare meals. The location was excellent too and the host Matthew was considerate and hospitable.

Family holiday

Lovely property, stunning views. Great communication from owners. Note, is split level and has three sets of stairs- we were travelling with my elderly mum and that posed a bit of a challenge.

Comfortable Views

Excellent. Great views. Clean. Owner very helpful. The only comment otherwise would be the driveway is very difficult to reverse out of. We ended up parking on the street. A small negative. Otherwise, great.

It is a lovely house, and Mathew has been very supprotive. Unfortunately, upon arrival, it was raining, so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful balcony.

Peaceful Corlette

A stunning property with beautiful views and close proximity to Bagnalls Beach. 3 level spacious home with comfortable furnishings and pleasant outdoor areas. The property is well equipped with everything guests need (exception: hairdryer). Excellent communication from Matthew. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

Fantastic views and great house

House was clean and views were amazing. Matthew was very communicative and we appreciated his flexibility with our times. This house has a lot of stairs as it is over 3 levels so anyone with mobility issues would find it difficult although the main area is large and has a bathroom so no need to be up and down stairs all the time. We will definitely be back for another stay. Thanks Matthew and Liz

Corlette weekend

Group of 6 stayed for three nights. The property has nice views and there is a Thai restaurant close by that delivers. 5min drive into Nelson bay. The property was well stocked. Downsides were the balcony wasn’t very clean, which is understandable when there is no tap so it could be hosed clean. But the worst thing was the driveway. Very very steep and difficult to back out of garage. We ended up parking in the street. But overall we had a very pleasant stay,

No major complaints

We enjoyed the stay overall. The house had space and was well fitted out. The only negatives was that the air conditioning in the main bedroom was not working at alll. This made hsleeping on the 2 extremely hot nights very difficult. We did report the problem. but there were issues getting the problem fixed This compromised our stay frankly

Corlette

Property is high on side of hillside amongst many similar homes. Views over water to the north are wonderful. View from main bedroom is expansive with small balcony to enjoy breakfast or lunch, few wines. The property is on 3x levels , wooden staircases take you to each level with lounge and open plan kitchen in the middle. Finding the property can be a small problem. Driveway is narrow. Parking is tight unless you have a small vehicle. Entrance to double garage is steep. 3 bedrooms, laundry and bathroom with spa is ground level. Having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. There is a bbq on deck. Television is thru wifi connection only.

Serene home in the hills

A lovely weekend stay at the split multi-storey level home in the hills of Corlette. Submerge into tree top living with the birds chirping and chatting in the morning at sunrise. The sparkling nearby bay is viewable from all balconies. Air-conditioning was a treat during the very walk days and evening. A truly relaxing place to rest after a day at the beach and a lovely place to wake up in. Glorious spa bath in a bathroom where sensory deprivation is at the flick of a switch. New TV with streaming services and sound system available for use, but we didn’t even need it. The host is super friendly and contactable over text. Very timely to respond and a delight to communicate with. Highly recommend this place.

Awful, disappointing Stay

1) The images on the Stayz site do not agree with the reality of the property. Images are totally misleading - furniture is different, bedding is different, patio furniture is different, artwork is different. 2) cleaning - no where near what is expected of a holiday rental - tired bed linen, dirty doors, grubby floors, dirty cutlery and glasses. Toilets not properly cleaned. 3) patio area - we had to sweep the outside area before we could use it. Outside table in dire need of sand and varnish or replacement.4) dishwasher didn’t wash properly meaning we had to wash everything by hand (for 7 people) 5) communication; I contacted the host with my concerns to be told that he would raise it with the cleaner. That was all. No apology, no further response.

Fabulous stay at Corlette!

We were 4 friends who stayed over Easter. We each had our own room and plenty of shared space so we never felt crowded. Comfortable beds, awesome spa bath and spectacular views. I can’t compliment our host Matthew enough. He provided really detailed information about the property, how to get there, as well as general information about the area and was contactable if we needed him. Matthew made it really easy. We have already discussed going back another time. The property is over three levels with the main living area on the middle level. Bathrooms on all floors. The driveway is steep - we opted to park on the street as both cars had low front bumpers. Some of the window / door locks are stiff and tricky but we were provided information about this. The retractable flyscreens in the living and master are a great idea, but also stiff and some need some repairs. The dishwasher needs rinse-aid and the kitchen brushes need replacing. These are just really minor things that did not impact a really fabulous stay. Thank you to our host!
