Nestle Inn has everything you need to enjoy a luxurious stay in Highlands, NC. There is a two-night minimum, but trust us- you're going to want to stay longer! This well-appointed home has three bedrooms and four baths, has a split floorplan and is all on one easy living level. Only a few minutes to Main Street, Highlands makes it very easy for several trips a day, but you may find it hard to leave! There are two fire pits on this property, and a front covered porch makes it nice to gather any time of day or enjoy the solitude of the backdrop of lush rhododendrons all to yourself. The industrial/ farmhouse vibe of Nestle Inn adds to the down-home experience of your stay. The large master bedroom has a King bed and a private full bath. There is a laundry area and a more-than-a-powder-room bathroom located mid-center but tucked away. The great room has a vaulted ceiling with plenty of natural light and has an open kitchen, dining area, and living area. The electric fireplace is just one of the focal points and gives all the ambiance with none of the mess. Other areas of interest are the bar area, the barn doors that open to the pantry, and the Edison lighting over the farmhouse table. There are TVs in the living area and both guest bedrooms. with Netflix, HuLu, Disney+, YouTubeTV and AppleTV.
The guest wing has two bedrooms, each with its own private bath. One has a Queen bed, and the other has two Queen beds. The beds and furnished linens have been as thoughtfully designed and detailed as the rest of this home. There is ample parking available for you and your guests. One fire pit is in an alcove of the graveled driveway, and the other is in a grassy part of the yard, visible from the covered porch. There is a gas grill available. Garbage pickup (using the bear-proof receptacle) is collected on Monday and Thursday of each week. This home has monitored exterior video surveillance, The sleeping occupancy is limited to eight people. Pets may be considered, but only at the owner's discretion.

We booked this home for the 3 bedroom - 3 bath configuration and proximity to Highlands to attend a wedding. Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy all the amenities of the home. But we did enjoy our stay!

Highlands is Calling in NC
The property was as described, plus well stocked with just about everything one would need. Very comfortable and luxurious accommodations. We took advantage of the close proximity to downtown and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We thought the house was fantastic! We love the decorating and the layout of the house. It also had everything we needed for cooking and entertaining. Will recommend!
we visit almost every year, same time, first time in this house and it was perfect! 3 generations (6 adults and one 3 year old) and had a blast. House is in perfect location for hiking, main street and restaurants. Lots of room to spread out, beautifully decorated and maintained. Gourmet kitchen and everything we needed and more. Highly recommend this beautiful house when visiting Highlands, NC. Excellent:)

We’ve stayed in many places over the years in Highlands. This is our absolute favorite! The decor is warm and welcoming and the location perfect. It’s immaculate and equipped with everything anyone could need. The porch and firepit offer comfortable places to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
What a great home in the woods. We went for the snow storm, boy did we get some -12”. Nestle Inn was wonderful. All the amenities you can imagine. Brand new and very clean. Would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing property in private forests area but also several minutes from city center! Perfect space for our family and grandparents, lots of tv’s but also cute radio that allowed us to disconnect and just enjoy. Beautiful fire place with wood available. Highlands has great restaurants and lots of outdoor areas to discover (waterfalls and lakes, etc…).
Excellent property just minutes from the central business district of Highlands! Last minute spring break trip with our teenage kids and dogs. Home has been renovated and very nicely decorated. Great yard with 2 fire pit areas and a fenced area for the dogs. We definitely would recommend this home and certainly will look to return ourselves!

Spectacularly cozy cabin with thoughtful amenities and excellent location
We had the pleasure of spending a week at this beautiful property in early 2022, and were blown away by how gorgeously appointed this cabin is. We spent some of our time working remotely, and the rest of our time enjoying the space, and at no point did we need something that wasn't immediately available. The owners have thought of everything from makeup towels, to extension cords, to extra sheets, to fuzzy throw blankets, to a garlic press. The location is also very convenient - maybe less than 5 minutes to town, and close to so many fantastic hikes. We loved our visit here, and hope to return again soon.
Main critique is fireplace odor in main living room. Smells as though a past incident occurred with a failure to open the flume. Potpourri or some other fragance is heavy to perhaps hide the smell. Decor is a bit much and could be toned down a touch. Well stocked kitchen with glassware and utensils etc. Great locarion and minutes from downtown Highlands.

We stayed at this VRBO for the Highlands Food & Wine festival and it was the perfect location, only 5 minutes from downtown! The home had plenty of space and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The only issue we had was that the keys provided did not unlock every door so we accidentally locked ourselves out one day, but the property management company quickly provided a solution. This had no impact on our overall stay, which was excellent, but I would just suggest the management company consider rekeying all doors the same.
