Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We're so glad the home was clean, well-stocked, and everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It means a lot to know you'd recommend it to others, and we take a lot of pride in making sure guests feel right at home from the moment they arrive.
This property was the cherry on top for an amazing vacation! I think what we loved the most is we were out in the country but yet centrally located between Manitu Springs, Cripple Creek, Victor and so much more! Take the time to explore if you book this property, the nature around this home is absolutely stunning! This not only a beautiful property but the host actually thinks of everything to ensure your stay is top notch. They had plenty everyday items you may think you need to include Paper Goods, Condiments, Spices, Hygiene & First Aide items and so much more. We have all decided if we come back to the area we will be booking this hideaway again! Amazing overall experience!!

We're so glad this property was the cherry on top for your vacation! It means so much to hear that the peaceful, country setting combined with being centrally located to Manitou Springs, Cripple Creek, and Victor made for the perfect home base to explore the area. We do our best to think of the little details, from paper goods to first aid items, so guests can settle in and truly relax without worrying about the small stuff. Knowing that made a difference in your stay is exactly what we hope for. Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review, and for recognizing all the effort that goes into this home!

Vacation with friends
Place was very well equiped . Very clean and great location. We had a great stay.
Very nice place and the location was great. The water quit working right after we got there. I think the breaker may have tripped and it was probably something I could have reset. So we did without water for showers and toilets that evening and night as well as the next morning. We decided to go on a short trip the next day and it was fixed when we returned. This wasn’t anything the host or owner could’ve prevented, but it would have been nice if I could’ve checked the breakers and if that was it, we would’ve not been inconvenienced at all. Very satisfied otherwise and would recommend to others wanting to stay in the Cripple Creek area.

Thank you for your understanding and for your kind comments about the home and its location. We sincerely regret the temporary water outage during your stay. While it may have appeared to be a tripped breaker, the issue was actually an unexpected well pump failure that could not have been resolved on-site. As soon as we were notified, we immediately coordinated with our well service provider, and water service was restored as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and are grateful that, despite this unforeseen issue, you enjoyed your stay and would recommend the property to future guests.
The house was exactly what we wanted, located by all the places we wanted to go but away from city lights so my family could get the pictures of the stars they wanted. The house had everything we needed and more, we even played several of the games they had. Check-in and Check-out was easy and would recommend this place to any family.

Wonderful weekend in November
Second time staying at this exact cabin and wanting to return next year! Incredible time! Wonderful sunsets and sunrises! Made you feel all alone with the mountain. House had all we needed. Even big pans for cooking and a high chair and packnplay for our little one. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous house and amazing hosts.
The cabin is gorgeous, spacious, and you cannot beat the view. The owner was so kind and helpful! They left a book with information about the house and surrounding area that helped us decide on activities and restaurants. We had the best time!
The property was as stunning in person as In the pictures. Very easy to get to. Very clean and pristine. Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Overall, we would stay again! Thank you for a memorable weekend.

Amazing views and a phenomenal experience!
A few friends and I gathered to spend a weekend at a mountain cabin. This cabin was a perfect fit for our needs! It felt secluded and remote while only being 45 minutes away from Colorado Springs. The cabin was spacious and felt huge while also being very cozy. Would highly recommend!
We had a cousin reunion and stayed here at this cabin. It was perfect for us. They had everything we needed, and the property manager was proactive, very friendly, and responsive. Great space to visit and play games together, and plenty of private rooms for rest. Wouldn’t have changed a thing. Highly recommend!
We were 3 couples. The property was nice but note easily accessable to the different levels for us "Senions" the stairs were difficult to deal with. The TV was in the lower level (away from living room and kitchen) so we were unable to injoy the TV because the staairs were a obstacle for us who have limited breathing capacity. We developed altitude sickness and had to leave earlier than planned. That has nothing to do with the cabin but the altitude change for us from seal level. I think a more detailed description of the floor plan would have help us to find a more suitable accommadation. Overall we were satisfied with the cabin except all the stairs.

We’re glad you found the cabin nice and were otherwise satisfied. The listing describes the home as a three-story cabin requiring stairs and explains that the kitchen is on the second floor, with a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, so travelers can consider the layout before booking. We’re sorry the stairs made it difficult for your group to use the home comfortably. We appreciate you recognizing that the altitude-related concerns were unrelated to the cabin.
Surprised my mom for her 70th by gathering the family near her favorite mountain town (Cripple Creek). Was the perfect place for us all to be under one roof. Plenty of room to stretch out, cook, relax, and enjoy each other's company. Gorgeous view and wonderful property. Can't rate this highly enough.

Beautiful place with a view
The house was beautiful and the view from the large windows is amazing. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay, including a bottle of wine when you arrive. It is spacious and comfortable. To me it was centrally located for what we had planned from Colorado Springs, the Royal Gorge, Cripple Creek and Denver. We would definitely stay there again.
We wanted a more secluded location with fewer neighbors and this cabin did not disappoint. Beds were all comfy and everything we needed was right there and available. Host was super friendly and responsive. Cabin was gorgeous inside & out! Active wildlife nearby each evening. You will need to expect to drive at least a good 30-60 minutes one way to get to nearby attractions, restaurants and shopping, but it was worth it to have the serenity and peace that this location offered!

Family Wedding
From the first conversation with Randy after an easy booking, our experience was excellent! We were traveling for a family wedding and having a baby with us were in need of ease and comfort! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home and location! Randy kept me informed and even went beyond to get a high chair for the house! So nice to travel so far and have a beautiful home and experience with our stay! The home was so well equipped and decorated so cute! The views were phenomenal! Thank you for making our stay perfect!!
I could go on and on about this property. It instantly became one of our favorite Vrbo stays ever. We wanted to stay outside of Colorado Springs and this was the perfect place. The house is amazing - plenty of room for our family of 5. The kitchen is well-stocked, and even had a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival! The views are stunning out the giant windows - every night was dinner and a show! Everything was impeccably clean upon arrival. We sincerely appreciated the games and puzzles, too! Thank you for an incredible stay full of fun family memories! All our best!
