Hi Hilary After all the holidays and the family celebrations, you must be happy to be back home and settling back into normality so to speak. It was a pleasure, to host you and your extended family for such an auspicious occasion. Having the Villa serviced regularly for such a large group is beneficial to all as you are on vacation and the last thing on one's mind should be to clean up behind you. Its a time for rest and relaxation. We do what we can to 'iron out the creases' (no pun intended) to make your holiday experience as seamless as possible. Outstanding Customer service excellence is key, we bridge the gap as and where it is needed, be it assisting with transport, catering needs or confirming memorable tour experiences, it all ties up a perfect package with a pretty bow. The estate lends itself to a relaxed family atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the swimming pool and Al fresco dining & BBQ (Braai) during the Summer months. We are a short drive, but a picturesque and scenic one at that, to all attractions, restaurants, beaches and the main motorway which allows direct access into the Cape Town City Bowl. The Constantia Wine Route on our door step proves fruitful for those who have developed a taste for fine South African Wine in our region. We find that our guests love Jacko's (our African Grey) jolly banter as well as Stretch's ever present mischievous smile and wagging tail. They are special little characters that add a unique unexpected touch to your memorable holiday experience. We would love to see you come back time and time again.

Hi Thank you for the review in all the 18 years we have been operating we have never had a 2 Star review we always get a 4/5 star rating. Firtly is is advertized as a Shared pool.All my tenants in the other 3 Five star cottages are full time tenants working during the day & have not used the Pool & have their own entrances to their cottages & their own Privacy. The Villa is situated in the front of the property with all 3 of the Cottages at the back of the property. The 6 Double bedroom Viia & Guest suite sleeps 12 guests comfortably with a Large modern Kithchen with an AEG Gas Hob Electric oven well equipped with everythig you need have a German Tourist Guide & Chef who Brings out 6 Groups of germann torists about 12 guests 6 times a year for the last 6 years & he loves the Kitchen fully equipped & his guests rave about the Place with 3 Covered patio's & a Sundowner Deck with 360 degree views with the Backdrop of Table Mountain & Inside & outside Bar with 2 Weber & one Barrel Barbeque & 11 x 5 Solar heated Pool & Solar Heated pool The Villa is well spred out with Good quaily comfortable beds well decorated with Solar heated geyser & solar Heating for the Pool & 36 Solar Heated Electric panels with 10 KW Inverters virtually off the Grid so we not affected by Loadshedding & our own drinkable Borehole water with Filters & UV lights. Dear Juri Thank you for your review for Lime Cottage. The Cottage is ideal for a family of four. The open plan lounge, kitchen area is spacious and lends itself to relaxed family living. The pool is a hit with all who enjoy the hot summer days. Being Solar heated, the pool's temperature is ideal, despite weather conditions. Our view of the Constantia berg - backdrop of Table Mountain, makes for many a postcard memory, and the rooftop terrace is the perfect spot for a sundowner or two.

This review speaks for itself but this year we have done further upgrades by installing 36 Solar Electric panels with Dual 10 KW inverters almost getting us off the grid with battery back up to ensure our guests will have electricity when the Grid goes down when is seldom but it also enables us to run our Solar Heated Pool Pump & Solar Heated Jacuzzi pump during the day ensuring warm water for our large salt secluded pool & Jacuzzi. Thank you for your review on LeBonheur Villa & Guest Suite. It was a pleasure hosting this family for 3 nights at Lebonheur. Lebonheur is totally Green Friendly with use of Solar Energy as much as possible. With Solar heated Geysers 11 Solar Panels for the Large Solar Heated Pool & 4 Panels for the 8 seater Solar heated Jacuzzi. We have also undertaken a huge Solar Electric project this year that has virtually got us off the Grid with battery back up in case of Power failures to be self sustaining. As everyone in Cape Town knows the serious Water Shortage in the Western Cape with the Dams at 33.5% full compared to last year at 61.5% we may run out of drinkable water by March if we don't get more rain before the end of our rainy season which we are fast approaching. To avoid this we tell all our guests on arrival about the situation with pamphlets available & the Councils request to avoid bathing & take short showers. All hotels & Guest Houses are all standing together to avoid the Dams from drying up. We undertook a huge project to have our Borehole water Tested & with a good standard of water we have added filters to assure water for our guests that is also drinkable so that we are able to operate even if the water situation worsens. Never to forget that even the fact that we have a strong borehole to still use the water sparingly. We laise with our guests offering them weather updates etc & depending on the weather we recommend various things for them to do on a daily basis. With our solar geysers with timers we set the timers according to each guests needs assuring that they have hot water daily winter & summer. During the winter it is impossible to sustain pool & Jacuzzi tempratures especially at night so we cover up the pool every year during the Winter & when it warms up usually around 1 November we open up the Large pool using Daily solar energy & with our compulsory pool cover so to avoid evaparation & offer swimming temprature around 33 c & Jacuzzi with tempratures around 40c & there are instruction on how to get the most out of the Jacuzzi. When guests request accommodation during winter we reply advising them of the Winter Solar Heated & Solar heated jacuzzi but advise them that we are Winter & Summer Friendly with Wood burning Fireplaces & bedroom heating if necessary in winter & fans during Summer with our well Insulated & ventilated 5 Star Villa & Lime cottage with Large covered patios with state of the art stacking doors ideal Summer/Winter.
