Cute one bedroom cottage, perfect for couples or singles. Surrounded by a permaculture country garden on one side and native bushland on the other, you will feel close to nature. River access is 5 minutes drive to the Franklin foreshore. Rustic restoration of this rural cottage has created a peaceful escape from city stresses. Just 45 minutes form Hobart, in the Huon Valley, this is a great place to just relax or use as a base to explore the wineries, national parks and waterways of southern Tasmania.

Dogs are NOT automatically accepted. They can often be accommodated by discussion with the cottage hosts:
- Dogs must be on lead at all times outside studio.
- Our property is a "Land for Wildlife" Property & we have free ranging chickens. As such we want to ensure NO Wildlife is threatened.
- $60 charge for your dog - this is a one off charge regardless of duration of stay.
