Wycliff #15 - Meredith Lodging

Great things come in small packages, and this cozy ground-level condo has all you need for a small family or romantic trip to the beach. Located in south Lincoln City near the Taft District, Wycliff #15 puts you in a terrific spot to enjoy everything Lincoln City has to offer while putting you a bit closer to the attractions of Depoe Bay and Newport. Beautiful cliff-top ocean views out of large windows let you enjoy gorgeous sunsets from the breakfast bar, and a mirrored kitchen backsplash amplifies the ocean light. A light stacked-rock fireplace promises a crackling wood fire in the evenings while you curl up on the sofa to watch TV. There’s an adjoining queen bedroom and a 3/4 bathroom with a walk-in shower. A deck that serves the condo units gives you outdoor space to enjoy a meal and ocean breezes. You’ll be in easy reach of restaurants, brewpubs, shopping, glass-blowing studios, and the popular Siletz Bay area of Taft, where you can walk along the bay where harbor seals laze on sand bar, birds soar over the water and the river meets the sea. Rejuvenation, Lincoln City’s favorite spa, is less than a half-mile away. You’ll feel worlds away and refreshed by the sight of the ocean with a stay in this charming condo!

If I was a five foot person this would have been a good spot for me. I am 6’2 so it was difficult maneuvering for me. Ocean view was awesome! We had previously rented the unit next to ours. That was perfect.

Wycliff Condos at Lincoln City

It was a great place! Clean, comfortable, lots of parking. Close to the beach! We would definitely stay here again.

The bed was super comfy and cozy, but a king bed is WAY too big for that space. Nearly took my eye out on the TV shelf several times trying to sidle around the foot of the bed. Maybe consider mounting the TV on the wall instead of having that bruiser of a shelf sticking out? Why is there a couch between the kitchen and the dining table? The dining table is unnecessary, as the kitchen island has that bar. So all the dining table does is reduce the utility of the fireplace area. It would make more sense to just put a desk under the television. I was there for 10 days, so the complete absence of any kind of clothing storage was a real inconvenience. Invest in kitchen appliances! The oven burned everything I tried to bake, and the dishwasher door is hanging on by a thread. Great bathroom!

This is a great cozy little condo. It was clean and well stocked. The bedroom mattress was very soft. It's a corner unit so you don't have a neighbor sharing the tv wall. Great ocean view. Tiny little condo community.

First stay at condo

Room was small and cozy, however it did not have a closet or adequate space for hanging clothing. The surrounding units were very quiet and street noise was minimal. Kitchen had good glassware, utensils, pans, etc. The view was partially blocked by another building, but still offered quite a nice panorama of the ocean. Overall, a nice stay, but perhaps not a return visit.

Great Location but needs upgrades

Just a block from the beach on very steep stairs, yet close to stores and restaurants, this apartment has a great ocean view. The listing is for four, but bedding was not sufficient, carpets and furniture was very dated, the living space was very crowded, beds uncomfortable, and no closet or storage for suitcases. The price was very high for the space. Will never stay there again.

Read More Carefully than I did

My rating reflects that we are 73 and 78 and my wife has mobility issues. I read “ground floor” as “ground level.” In this case there are the equivalent of 4 steps up to the entrance. We brought coffee beans because of the info about a coffee maker and grinder but found a Keurig on the counter. Later discovered the coffee maker in a cabinet, but no filters. The space is well used, but notice it is less than 400 square feet. That didn’t register with me. It would be very tight for 4 unless 2 were kids. It is even smaller than its size because there is no empty storage for anything. One small drawer available. No closet or other space since that is all used by the owner. The bathroom is spacious (including a walk-in shower that will accommodate a shower chair) but the toilet is small and VERY low. A very convenient location and really easy lock/unlock, though the inside locking instructions are wrong, but easy to figure out. 2 younger people without mobility issues would find it more than adequate.
