Reading week get away

Me and my university friends stayed here during reading week. The space was fabulous and was able to comfortably sleep 6 adults. Host was amazing and very responsive and accommodating. The price was right and made for an unforgettable week, would recommend to anyone looking for a spacious and accommodating get away that's a short drive from all the action in the city.

Bad stay

Would not recommend, only provided a broken garage door opener to access the property. House was beautiful however there were an abundance of deficiencies such as; microwave broken, lights broken, toilet seats broken, only one smoke detector installed out of five, almost no toilet paper, and dryer was full of wet clothes upon arrival. After checking out the owner blamed and charged us for breaking the toilet that was not working properly throughout our stay. Would not recommend.

Very poor

I have been unable to say exactly what I think about this property as my words go against Vrbo guidelines. I didn’t use profanity. We stayed at this property whilst my daughter was undergoing brain surgery for a tumour. Here are all the things that were wrong with the property. The first 2 items were addressed. The next 4 I mentioned to the host. No apology was received or attempt to rectify any of the 4 issues. I didn’t bother to mention the other things as I honestly don’t think he cared. And we were quite exhausted driving backwards and forwards to the hospital. Housekeeping issues were the last things we wanted to do. Problems as follows:- Overpowering smell of air freshener or aftershave on the towels which isn’t fabric conditioner. So intense towels had to be left in the garage. New towels were brought to the house No iron or ironing board but we’re provided same day. Electric socket doesn’t work in the master bedroom en-suite. No second key. Only entrance through the garage using the fob. 2 people can’t leave and return separately Bath plug doesn’t stay in place not fitted correctly. Unable to take a bath. Sound bar doesn’t connect to TV. Sound quality of TV poor. Shower door doesn’t fit correctly in the en-suite so doesn’t close properly. Bulb out in the kitchen. Mirror wardrobes in the hallway behind the garage doesn’t shut properly poorly fitted. Not enough characters to complete list Very poor

Was clean, beautiful bathroom however needed a window covering but other than that host is wonderful to work with

Great place!

This property was really nice. It was a great layout, comfortable, and most importantly, clean! The location was great too. Easy to find and within easy commute times to West Edmonton Mall, Roger’s Place, and South Edmonton. We’ll be looking into booking it for future visits for sure.

AMAZING

I rented this place for my family so we could celebrate our son's 30th Birthday, it was an awesome place, very easy to find and cute. Abi was very accomodating as the A/C wasn't working so he got us fans to help, thank god it actually cooled off instead of getting hot as it previously indicated. Would recommend this place to anyone.

It may have been good if the owner hadn't overbooked. So we did not stay.

The booking went smooth, until arrival and we could not get into the property. I called the owner and he stated he's had it rented for the past three weeks and there was a mix up. He did refund me his share of the charges but I have not seen anything yet for a refund from VRBO for the service charges, so I'm still out $100.00. Wasn't easy finding a hotel on a long weekend.
