This cozy apartment has the best location: a quiet street within easy walking distance of the university, lots of shops, and great restaurants. Everything you’ll need for a short or extended stay is here. Edmonton is a wonderful city and we loved our visit.

We loved the area - the condo was comfortable and just situated near Whyte Avenue! We walked everywhere the whole weekend! We enjoyed celebrating our 34th year wedding anniversary! Breakfast at Bosco was fabulous!

Calgary Condo near Whyte Ave

Cozy, clean place just a couple of blocks off Whyte Ave. Relatively quite given the location. Well-equipped place. Only slight issue is that mattress is very soft!

This is a clean and fresh condo in an older building. The room has the basics, but not a lot of extras. One set of towels, two pillows for the bed etc. The big plus side is the location as it's within walking distance of some great restaurants, cafes and clubs. We LOVED La Bosco right around the corner every morning. We'd stay again. It gets the job done.

I do not recommend staying here. First of all, the listing lied: the bed is full size bed, NOT a queen size bed. Next, the apartment is furnished cheaply. For instance, I needed to iron a shirt. There's an iron, but when I asked if there was an ironing board, I was told "unfortunately, there's no ironing board." The curtains are cheap and barely cover the windows, so light comes in on the sides. Finally, and this isn't the hosts fault (because there is a no smoking rule in the apartment), but the apartment smells of cigarette smoke. This is due to other apartments in the building, but regardless whose fault it is, it's still part of the experience of staying here. I would never stay in this Vrbo ever again.

Perfect size for perfect stay

I had a great stay at this VRBO near Whyte Avenue in Edmonton. The location was fantastic easily walkable with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The space itself was nicely designed; although it was a smaller area, it felt open and each room flowed seamlessly into the next. I especially loved the foldable French doors leading into the bedroom such a charming touch! The host was very responsive and made sure had everything I needed even before arrived, which made the stay even more comfortable. The only minor downside was that the street is one-way, which made finding parking out front a little tricky at times. However, it wasn't a major issue overall. would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient stay in Edmonton!

Enjoyed but ...

Although the place was clean and neat - the lock box procedures may have been better expressed, I will read more of the location - Whyte Ave has changed unfortunately not for the better - the stairs I was not aware of, a bit difficult for the wife - the inhouse AC was satisfactory but a more central air would have been better. The host was most cooperative.

Please read the listings more carefully next time before booking as it mentions there are stairs etc. Regarding the lockbox, we never had anyone having issues with it. We walked you through over the phone at a very late hour.

Not a great stay

The incorrect code was provided for check in on the vrbo site and the host was away without an actual person to speak to for assistance. After further assistance from vrbo and review of a separate email, I was able to get inside. The space was advertised as a queen bed however it was only a double. The place was very cold and didn’t warm up for hours, I had to sleep with extra layers as there was no extra bedding. A friend of the host contacted me and a refund was given without hesitation, for the remaining booking dates. Thankfully I was able to find a hotel in the area that had a vacancy.

This property has been completely remodeled and rennovated from top to bottom at the beginning of 2022. All appliances, floors, and bathroom are brand new. It's modern, stylish, spacious yet cozy, and most importantly - clean.
