Luxury Lodge House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Plenty of room for friends and family, as well as the pets. With extensive garden of one hectare, rural and sea views in front, and private bush walks out back to a fresh water swimming hole there is loads of space to escape and relax. There is a 12m swimming pool (shared), spa pool (private) and gym (shared) for your health and well being. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and indoor and outdoor eating spaces for groups up to 8. There is an 80" smart TV and a home cinema full screen system. It is 5 mins drive from both Langs Beach and Waipu Cove, and the famous Cove Restaurant.

There is also a 2 bedroom guest house on the property which will have access to the shared facilities. This can be booked also under Ruru on the Hill.

We loved everything about our stay. The house was spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and perfect for our family Christmas. The landscaping is stunning with so many birds! Communication with Gill was effortless. We would have loved to stay longer in this little piece of paradise. Thanks Gill!

Little break away

Gill's place is a wonderful location, tranquil and great for a family trip away. We had our adult children and their partners. There was plenty of room for everyone and alot of time spent in the spa and pool, relaxing the day away. The little cottage on site is also beautiful and was great for extended family that came for a couple of nights. Waking up to the sunrise over the sea - magical!

Wade Family Holiday

Gill was so accommodating and lovely to deal with. We booked both properties for our family holiday and we had such a good time despite the weather. Perfect for us, our kids and our pups. The property is fully fenced and it was easy to get between the houses. The check in and check out process was simple. Pai (groundsman) was lovely. We will definitely be booking again for next year!!!

Langs Beach part 2 - Kylees 1st Birthday

This is our second stay at Langs Beach. This time we had our baby - Kylee - who turned 1 the day of check in. We celebrated with an intimate Moana themed dinner which she loved so much!! Since our last visit in April 2023, the outdoor/entertainment area has been renovated making it an even more beautiful and cosy space for a large family on holiday during the colder months. The gardens boasting new art. We brought all 4 of our dogs along and they all had an absolute blast exploring and lounging with us all. Again both houses had everything you could need, so clean and comfortable. Great to see caretaker Pye again who is always so welcoming and does an amazing job looking after this haven. We will 100% be coming back!! Ruru Way - our perfect Annual Holiday Destination :)
