Great stay in Highlands. Close enough to town, yet you feel like you’re in a remote location away from the noise. Host allowed us to check in early on Friday which was great. Would stay here again.
This cottage was small but certainly did not seem small. It had absolutely everything we needed. So convenient to downtown Highlands and many other great places to see. I would definitely book again.
The cabin was lovely and well stocked, it was on a very quiet road that was great for walking. Extremely close to town and conveniences. Would loved to have stayed longer!
The house was a perfect distance from town. Felt remote yet it was close to everything.
Great view on porch for morning coffee and fire put for afternoon cocktail
Very cute small cottage, which was decorated for Christmas during our stay. That was a pleasant surprise. Very accommodating when we needed to change our dates. Dog friendly which for us is such a plus.Close to downtown but will need a car.
We will definitely use the property again if we are headed to Highlands in the future!
5 star getaway for couples!
This is a beautiful property in an amazing location. Think cozy reading nooks and TWO porches perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. You are a little over a mile from downtown, and you could definitely walk there if you wanted.
The Internet speed was very important to us, and it delivered—never dropping below 100Mbps down, and consistently around 150-200Mbps.
We loved having a grill and solo stove for hanging out on the porches. The hosts were responsive and helpful as well.

Very clean, tiny and dark inside
Nice tiny cabin in the woods, bedrooms especially tiny, no closet space but clean and well equipped. Inside dark but expect that in a woods environment.
Property was charming & fit the description accurately. The only thing that we would change would be a little more security with the locks and doors. Seemed like the door locks could have easily been broken into, even though the neighborhood felt safe, my husband was a little uneasy with the glass door/window and door lock so close to each other. We were overall extremely pleased with everything else. Thank you!
My husband, teenage daughter and I needed a quick weekend away from Atlanta. This was perfect. Super close to downtown Highlands but in a lovely walkable neighborhood for our little doggo. The property manager was very responsive via texts as I was preparing what to bring. She answered all q's immediately. But I found out I didn't need to bring much! Coffee, charcoal for grill, etc. all there. Well stocked. It's a petite little home but for a small family or romantic weekend, it's exactly what we needed.
We were so excited to arrive and begin our nine day holiday stay at your cabin. Walking in the door we were greeted and pleasantly surprised to see it completely decorated for the holiday. It was the attention to details like this that made our stay even nicer. The kitchen was the perfect size and had available all the tools we needed to prepared meals. It was very pet friendly and included a "pet" basket of supplies. Overall, the cabin was perfect size for the two of us and we even had some visitors during our stay.
The location was better than we had expected. Only a short drive to shop in the Highlands, or take in any of the most popular hiking and waterfalls in the area.
The cabin was very clean and set up with everything that you would need. We would definitely stay here again!
The house is cute and suitable for just two adults for the house is quite small. The porch areas are nice.
However, We did not have the ability of viewing live TV on the one TV that is provided at the house and therefore had to subscribe to HULU to be able to watch live TV on our 9" by 6" Ipad. Other than that our stay there was pleasant and enjoyable.
This property is just as pictured, perhaps a bit smaller living room but still comfortable and very pleasant. Lovely furnishings and everything looks new. Location was perfect. Quiet road, surrounded in every direction by woods and gorgeous rhododendrum. Comfy beds, totally equipped kitchen, and two delightful porches, one for wine and a good book and the other for any and all meals outdoors. Not one mosquito. Good wifi, comfy beds, all linens provided - we loved our stay. Visit the Tourist Center for info and don't miss the Nature Center and its lovely walks. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at The Veranda overlooking the lake and The Lakeside art restaurant. Crowded downtown, but still enjoyable. The waterfalls are worth the trip and the weather is perfection in the summer. Winding roads to and from everywhere, but manageable. Don't believe the weather forecast. Called for rain every day and we had an occasional shower, every OTHER day. It's a lovely house to wait out the downpours and a wonderful road for walking. You will enjoy it all.
