Wanaka`s Oasis Escape

This home truly is an oasis. Decorated with a designer’s eye, this spacious, light-filled house offers comfort and a clever floor plan. Set in a quiet, peaceful cul-de-sac in picturesque Wanaka, with wonderful mountain views, it’s within a short drive to the lake foreshore. Offering modernity, style and charm, this home ticks all the boxes for your perfect holiday base.



This delightful 3BR home provides the perfect space for a couple, friends or family getaway. Well-configured and beautifully appointed with comfortable and stylish furniture, along with modern appliances, everything has been thought of for your comfort and convenience.



The home boasts a spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen area with vaulted ceilings. Large windows allow an abundance of natural light in. There is a study nook in the dining area and a separate lounge/TV media room, with a gas fireplace, that can be closed off from the heart of the home. The fully equipped, well appointed kitchen is a cook’s delight, and includes large kitchen benchtops to work or entertain from and a butlers pantry to hide away any mess.



A large deck runs along the front & side of the home, providing a lovely covered outdoor seating area for relaxation and entertaining. At the end of the day, enjoy a glass of wine in comfort on the deck and savour the peace and quiet of the beautiful gardens, gazing at the stunning mountain scenery.



Two of the bedrooms offer comfortable new super king beds (the third has a comfortable new king bed) and the master includes an ensuite and WIR. The master bedroom is set apart from the other bedrooms in its own wing, and offers access to the outdoor deck area by way of sliding doors. The other two bedrooms look out the back, where there is a small adjacent grassed area so no close neighbours, through large floor-to-ceiling windows. The bathroom, ensuite and powder room are all modern, clean, light, and airy.



Further conveniences are the full laundry and garage space.



PLEASE NOTE: Airbnb does not consider infants to be guests (when counting numbers) and will allow you to book this property if any infants accompanying you take your guest numbers to higher than 6 guests. Unfortunately, our council regulations prohibit us from exceeding this number, including infants. If you do book for more than 6 guests, infants included, we will unfortunately need to cancel your booking and you will need to incur any fees we get charged. Please also note that there is no infant bedding provided with this property - you will need to bring your own port-a-cot and linen if you are bringing an infant.



You will have access to the entire property during your stay.



We are available to answer any questions via our Guest Portal `DUVE` or over the phone during your stay. If there is something that requires attention during your stay, we will be able to attend within approximately 30 minutes.



Wanaka is a lovely township. You can be in the centre within a 5 minute drive, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and cafes, offering top-end delicacies to delicious pub food. Local favourites Apres Cafe, Florence`s Foodstore Cafe and Lipski & Sons are all within a 10 to 15 minute walk. A wide range of boutique stores will also entice.



The lake’s backdrop is like a postcard with stunning mountains framed by beautiful trees. The walks along the foreshore are just beautiful. There are plenty of water activities on offer, from paddle boarding and kayaking to fishing and boating. Take a lake cruise or a scenic helicopter flight, try your hand at heli-skiing or perhaps a jet boat ride up the mighty Clutha River.



If you have an adventurous and active nature, a walk to Rob Roy Glacier in the stunning Mt Aspiring National Park or a scenic mountain bike ride might appeal. Children will enjoy a visit to Dingleburn Safari and Puzzling World with its maze and illusion room.



Lakefront picnics, or lunch and a tour of the local vineyards are all possibilities locally and further afield there’s even more to entice you to this stunning area. Queenstown is only an hour’s drive with its array of activities and eateries on offer. And of course, in winter, hit the slopes just a short drive away at the local ski fields: Cardrona, Treble Cone or the Snow Farm.



You couldn`t choose a better base than Wanaka’s Oasis Escape for an exceptional holiday.



Turn off state hwy 84 into Riverbank Rd, turn right into Orchard Rd, right into Cardrona Valley Rd, left into Stone Str, left into Niger Street.



Please note that we do have a minimum age requirement of 25 years. The primary guest making the booking must meet this minimum age, though accompanying guests may be younger.



Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to our guest portal DUVE. Prior to check-in, you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your licence/passport and credit card before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). We do not charge your card, nor does it get stored by our system, and you are welcome to block out some numbers, but please note that our Guest App has the highest level of PCI compliance available. This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
