This VRBO was delightful, well equipped and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect. Everything worked well. Although it rained every day it was a most enjoyable stay.

Beautiful home in a perfect location. Lots of lovely places to walk in the neighbourhood. Gorgeous outdoor space for sipping morning coffee and eating meals prepared in the spacious and well-equiiped kitchen. Great home base for our family vacation.

Perfect location- Close to Everything

Very close to Cedar Hill Park and the walking trail around the golf course was excellent. Kitchen was well equiped and had everthing you would need. Great shower in main bedroom. We very much enjoyed our time there.

Excellent stay. The home was beautiful and had everything we could possibly have needed. The location was perfect for us. Close to downtown, groceries, malls and sights. There were even dog bowls for my girls!!

Great Stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ruth’s home. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook and to entertain family. The backyard was beautiful, with a few different seating areas. Loved the master bedroom and the huge, beautiful, walk-in shower!

Great location; beautiful home

We had a lovely stay at the property, which is very well-appointed and had everything we needed. It's in a great location and has a great outdoor area/beautiful outlook. I wouldn't recommend for young children due to the nature of the interior decorations (lots to break!). Great for adults and older kids.

Amazing, as always!

This is our third time staying at this home. It was, once again, wonderful. The location, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living area, fireplaces, and yard are all amazing. It is spotless and impeccably kept. The owners are responsive and helpful with any issues that come up (and they are minor and few). We look forward to staying again, and again, and again.

Great space, easy stay

Place was spacious with a big kitchen and living room. The backyard is also a beautiful space to have access to. House had everything we could need during our stay (cooking/kitchen utensils, laundry detergent, other basic amenities). Ruth was very quick to respond to any questions we had and easy to communicate with.

Great property

This really is a lovely property centrally located nearby anything you might need or want to do in Victoria. The home itself is very bright, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is ample parking and a large back yard and patio area. Ruth was very responsive and helpful both arranging the stay and helping with anything we needed. We stayed for over a month and it really felt like home. I can’t recommend this enough.

Everything is as it appears, lovely home, great backyard for our little pups. Top end appliances, beds and furniture are great. We spent a month (July), and highly recommended this property, our host, Ruth is responsive and professional. 10+

Nice Home Away From Home

Very comfortable home with a fully stocked kitchen and a great peaceful back yard. Fenced back yard keeps your dog safe. Comfortable beds - all the bathrooms were stocked along with the laundry room. We loved the quiet and privacy of the place. Also really enjoyed the Cedar Hill walking trails which are about three blocks away. The whole area is so beautiful to walk around the historic homes. Close drive to downtown or uptown. This will be are go to on our next trip to Victoria.

Great winter stay in Saanich

Accommodation was great. Pictures do not do justice to the residence. The residence was just like being at home with all of its comforts. Location is near walking trail at Cedar Hill golf course (2-3 blocks). Also about 1-2 kilometres from regional bike trail. Shopping centres 2 kilometres (with all types of retail). Downtown Victoria is 10-15 minute drive. We would definitely consider this accommodation for another visit.

This was A very lovely place to stay, quiet, had all the modern amenities, very nicely decorated, very comfortable in every way. Great response from Host, really appreciated that. Lovely back yard to sit out & enjoy the sun with a glass of wine. One could have a BarBQ, but we went out for our dinners so never used. The only draw back if you want to call it that, it is a little far from the action of down town…..but we were fine with that. I’d give it an A++

Lovely house to stay in

The house was great and the pictures online do not give it justice. The master suite is lovely which isn't shown in the pictures. The yard would be great in warmer weather. The only downside is the garbage collection. It was full when we got there and we never got the right week to be able to bring it out. If you aren't familiar with the garbage routine it is tricky. Otherwise this place is fantastic!!

Best place to stay in Victoria!

We absolutely love this place! We have stayed here twice when we wanted to spend a couple weeks or more in Victoria. This is the perfect place to do it. We will be back! The size is perfect: a master suite, a second bedroom and bath, an office if needed, a separate powder room, and a wonderful living, dining, and kitchen space. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the kitchen tools needed to cook. The fireplaces are magical! Everything is just perfect. The backyard space is perfect for traveling with small dogs. It is private, fully fenced, and wonderfully landscaped. The neighborhood is peaceful. It's very quiet and calming. A short walk away is the golf course with a walking trail that runs around it that is perfect for morning, daytime, or evening walks. This is not downtown Victoria, and that's great! Downtown Victoria is a short drive, and this location makes it easier to see places outside of downtown. The hosts are gracious, responsive, and just all-around wonderful folks. In short, we love this place as our home away from home when we visit Victoria.
