Nehalem Riverfront Home has Private Dock, Ten Minutes to the Beach in Manzanita!

Coastal River Haven - Meredith Lodging

A Luxurious Meredith Lodging Retreat on the Nehalem River!

Cast a line from your own private dock and experience a lavish coastal design with anglers in mind. Welcome to Coastal River Haven, a truly one-of-a-kind riverfront escape proudly offered by Meredith Lodging. This rare retreat is a fisherman’s dream, featuring a private 60-foot boat dock exclusively for guest use and ample parking for trucks and trailers—making it effortless to arrive by water, dock your boat with ease, or spend your days fishing and crabbing right from your backyard.

From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by sweeping views of the tranquil Nehalem River, where otters play, seals drift by, and bald eagles nest in the trees behind the house and can be seen fishing and flying across the river. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the home with natural light, creating a bright, serene atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming.

The expansive living room is beautifully updated with stylish furnishings, panoramic river views, and a large flat-screen TV with streaming capabilities—perfect for unwinding after a day on the water. Step outside onto the sun-drenched deck to BBQ and dine alfresco around the fire pit, surrounded by sparkling water and rolling foothills—a postcard-worthy setting for morning coffee, sunset dinners, and unforgettable coastal moments.

Dining and shopping in Nehalem are right out the door or just a kayak or boat ride away if you prefer. You can be to the beach in Manzanita in ten minutes by car, and hiking Neahkahnie Mountain is just up the highway. You’re in for a fantastic stay in the gorgeous Coastal River Haven!

Very nice place and clean. They have things backwards for anybody with mobility issues though. The main level features only a bathroom suitable for young adults/children. The fixtures are very low in height. The upstairs, where all the bedrooms are located BTW, has the only accessible bathroom with grab bars and an adult size potty. LOL. If anyone in your group can’t safely get up the stairs by themselves repeatedly recommend moving on. Overall a nice property for a young family having no members with mobility issues.

Thank you for the review and for highlighting the cleanliness. I'm very sorry the bathroom layout and fixture heights caused difficulty for members of your group with mobility limitations. Thank you so much for taking care to note that for future renters.

House was roomy, comfy, great location (minus the traffic noise being so close to the road), and worked great for us. We loved that the house was stocked well, and enjoyed taking the kayak out and sitting out on the deck during the breaks of rain when the sun came out! We walked to the shops and restaurants in Nehalem which was great. One thing, the master bath shower is tricky. There’s labels everywhere, the shower needed instructions as well!

It was great

Siri took us to the wrong location, so don’t trust Apple Maps. Once we got there it was great. Check in was easy and the space was nice. The house is in a beautiful location. Loved watching the birds in the morning, even saw an eagle. The stars were awesome at night. We had a wonderful time visiting Nehalem and surrounding Oregon.
