Walk to the Village, Lake or Forest EV charger

Our home sits above the village near the boundary of the national Forest. you can walk to the village in minutes and enjoy all it has to offer. come for the hiking, biking, skiing, lake activities.... Jump in your car and get to bear mountain in 4 miles or 1 1/2 for snow summit The fireplace is a real wood-burning fireplace. We have wireless Wi-Fi TV and DVDs in every room, no cable but you will be able to watch our movies or use your Netflix. An upstairs balcony and also a downstairs redwood deck with large tables and chairs, we have a gas barbecue. We try to be as chemically free as possible for my allergies please no perfume or cologne to be worn in my home. Bring slippers and make yourself at home!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please wash and put away dishes
Gather used linens and leave in the kitchen
If The fireplace was used, please clean out the Ash, leave the ash in the ash bucket on the upstairs deck. Remove the rest of the trash and take it with you to one of BIg Bear‘s trash dump sites.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No perfume or cologne due to my allergies. Count all people in your occupancy count including children, wash dishes, strip beds, take trash with you

Perfect location, comfortable cabin

We enjoyed being able to walk to town and to nearby hiking trails. The cabin had everything we needed and the EV charger was nice to have too.

Host is very welcoming, provided a lot of information on things to do in town or in the Village. We have stayed here twice in the past few weeks and place was great. The one things is while it is technically close to the village and a short walk, about 15 maybe, that is down hills and heading back will be a lot harder do to the steep road. Being so close, driving down to the village isn't a big deal. Overall, we will be back

Awesome Cabin!

We had a great experience with this cabin. It was right up the steet from the village surrounded by beautiful houses and scenery. The Cabin was spotless clean and had a great cabin vibe. The homeowner is very friendly and made my first cabin rental the perfect experience. I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Very nice

Property was very clean and well supplied. Was a little further to the Village than I had hoped. Stairs are steep if you’re 70 years old. It is a very nice cabin and Diana couldn’t have been nicer.

We love to travel and found big bear to be a great long weekend getaway my husband Peter is a general contractor so we have had fun remodeling this home. I was a flight attendant with United Airlines so traveling is in my blood. my favorite trips have always been the spontaneous ones, when we were younger we stayed in hostels as I felt as if on a layover rather than vacation in a hotel I really love the idea of the Vrbo as it's more homey than a hotel and grown-up than a hostile or pubs stay.

Why they chose this property

We have owned this home for a dozen years or so. We love being able to walk into the village in a matter of minutes and in the opposite direction walk into the national Forest We are so close to the village but have the peace and privacy of being away. We don't have to deal with the village parking if we don't want to. The cave has concerts on the weekends and there's so many great restaurants we walk to.

What makes this property unique

No car needed to enjoy the village!!! This is our second home not a full-time vacation rental so we have it set up for us and our friends in mind. You will feel like you’re staying in someone’s house rather than someone’s rental.
