Kona Kottage - Windsor Island Private Pool, Spa and Contactless Entry

Kona Kottage is a high demand vacation home in the brand new Windsor Island. Relax and enjoy spending time with your family and friends at this wonderful home. The home is professionally decorated and offers 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathroom, featuring a gaming room in the garage.

On the first floor you have a master suite with a king bed and and ensuite. There is also a half bath downstairs, next to the washer and dryer. On the second floor you will find the rest of the bedrooms. There is another master bedroom upstairs with a king bed and ensuite. Room 3 has twin beds. Room 4 - Marvel theme room, has a bunk bed with one twin and one full bed. Bedroom 5 has one Queen bed. Bedroom 6 has one Queen Bed. For added enjoyment upstairs, a TV was recently added!

When staying in this house, you have access to all the resort amenities! Windsor Island is located in the Davenport area with easy access to Orlando’s theme parks, dining, and shopping. Just 38 miles from Orlando international airport, Windsor Island features resort amenities such as a lazy river, huge pool with slide and tiki bar. You will also find a fitness center, Volleyball court, sundry shop, and video arcade.

Enjoy all that Orlando has to offer such as the theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, Discovery Cove, Aquatica and other attraction such as I-Drive, City Walk & Disney Springs; Shopping malls such as The Mall at Millenia, The Florida Mall and The Outlet Mall. Sports events include Orlando City soccer and Orlando Magic basketball.

Just over an hour drive away you will find some of Florida’s favorite beaches such as Cocoa Beach, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, New Smyrna Beach & Daytona Beach.

WINDSOR ISLAND NOW REQUIRES ALL GUESTS TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE GATE TO OBTAIN ACCESS TO THE COMMUNITY AND EVERY ADULT TO HAVE A VALID ID. Please provide Florida Spirit Vacation Homes with a list of names and drivers who will need to be registered with the gate upon booking. 

*This home has a 4-car limit per reservation. The first 4 cars to enter will be counted for the entire duration of the stay. Street parking is allowed within in designated areas within the Windsor Island Community. *

* The cost to add on pool and spa heat during your stay is $30 a day (plus applicable state and county taxes).*

Wonderful stay!

This house was perfect for us. The 2 living rooms allowed for all the dads to watch sports downstairs and all the kids could watch their shows upstairs. The resort pool and club house is amazing as well! We definitely hope to be back!

Excellent house. Clean on arrival with all facilities you could require. There were only 3 of us but if full there would be a shortage of cutlery.

Amazing Stay!

This was our first time renting a house and we weren’t disappointed. It was easy to check in and the house was immaculate. Great communication with rental staff. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Close to the clubhouse, pools were great.

Overall the place was very nice. It could use a few small improvements such as a grill (we had to buy a small table top grill from walmart to use while there), more pans, kitchen towels, bath mats, upstairs gets hot even with fans on. Refridgerator needs repair, it was not holding temperature. All things that can be fixed easily. Traffic getting into the neighborhood was annoying at times. I had read a reveiw about that and ignored it. Wish i hadn't. Not a deal breaker but something to mention.

Amazing house for our family

We loved the house! Very clean and plenty of space. We used the pool every day. Communication was easy and they went above and beyond to help with items that were left behind.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about this vacation was amazing. When we booked Kona cottage, we did not expect how amazing Windsor island was going to be. Everything about the house and the resort was perfect. The resort is very clean and beautiful, there was trivia and snow cones poolside for the kids, good drinks and good music. My older boys loved the basketball court and the water slides. It was such a good time and we are already planning to come back again later on this year. It was our best vacation yet!

Christmas vacation 2022

This house is amazing. It was our family, all kids and grandkids, and we had a great time. One of the coldest week’s Florida has had in years, we still used the pool and spa. I would stay at this house again and do recommend them. Thank you for the great stay.

Disney Getaway

Our extended family of 12 had a great time overall at the house! House was in good shape and clean, but lacked adequate towels and some of the basics I've come to expect in VRBO stays.Community pool and facilities were awesome and its very short 20 min drive to Disney. Staff at Windsor Island were also great! Close to a public park, grocery stores, etc.Gave it 4* overall because we had several times where we waited 45 mins to enter the development. There has to be a better way to safely admit vehicles to the property than what we experienced. Not much worse than tired kids trapped in the car only 1/4 mile from the house for almost an hour and a 5 min run to Publix taking 50 mins.

Very nice property

My family had a blast. This was a new home with plenty of room for everyone to move around freely. Kids and adults enjoyed the private pool, spa, and playroom, as well as the community's water slide and mini golf. Glad we were able to drive down in just two cars, cause driveway only fits two cars. Restaurants and shopping within 3-5 miles. Parks less than 20 minutes away. Overall great experience in a clean and spacious home. Thanks!

STAY AWAY - Horrific Management

Be prepared to be texting, calling and leaving multiple messages, even on emergency line, never to get a call back. We had issues getting in the property because of lack of proper names included on reservation (their end), flies in home due to old garbage next to house not picked up or bagged), back door not locking/broken, no communication regarding the shocking of the house pool and we can't use for a day of our stay....and much more!! OVERALL, we asked repeatedly for just a phone call back and company WOULD NOT call us to discuss or let us explain issues we needed help with. They never understood through text what we were asking or needing help with. So much frustration and lack of care. Text responses often came from different people with no background of issue. DO NOT stay here under this management - Florida Spirit Vacation Homes. This particular home was misrepresented. The girls 'Frozen' theme room #6 says 1 twin and 1 full but it is just 2 twins. We thought 2 small kids could share that full bed, but could not. The game room in infested with flies. Lots of hair remained on shower walls...back door broken and won't lock. Very stressful experience. We did like the resort and would come to different home with different management.

We could see the Disney fireworks in the distance from the decking. The water park was close by and an excellent place to spend a day with everything from a lazy river to a children’s play area. Easy to access Disney via the back roads. The management company were easy to deal with nd accommodating.
