This cottage is ideal for a families or small groups looking to enjoy everything Bright has to offer. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry and a fully equipped kitchen you’ll have everything you need to feel at home here. It’s just over 1km into town, an easy stroll to the many shops, restaurants and cafes of Bright and the very popular splash park and playground on the Ovens River.

This property is managed on behalf of the owners by Bright Holidays, part of the Dickens Real Estate group.

KITCHEN/DINING
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast for the family and friends. Complete with a dishwasher to make cleaning up a breeze! Induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave and full fridge. Dining seating for 6.

LOUNGEROOM
Spread out on the comfortable lounge in front the ‘wood fire effect’ gas heater on those chilly winter nights with WIFI and a Smart TV for all your streaming needs.

The main bathroom consists of a walk in shower, bath and separate toilet.
The ensuite bathroom consists of a walk in shower and toilet.

LAUNDRY
Complete with a washer and dryer.

HEATING & COOLING
A gas heater in the loungeroom as well as a split system air conditioner for those warmer months. Portable heaters in each bedroom for some extra warmth in the winter.

OUTDOORS
Outdoor seating for 6 on the back verandah surrounded by beautiful Camelia trees. Gas BBQ for those summer night cook ups! Lockable shed to store your bikes or ski equipment, along with some extra bike accessories.

PARKING
A carport with space for one. Extra vehicles will need to be parked off the complex. The carport has outdoor power points for those with electric vehicles.

Girls weekend

Great location. Very clean with basics provided. Fantastic heating for those chilly Winter days. We loved it so much that we are already planning to come back next year.

Perfect family stay whilst attending a wedding. Great proximity to town, quiet location (at rear of set of units) and everything we required for a comfortable stay.

Bright, a beautiful place to stay.

The property is an excellent place to stay, super clean and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. It was winter but the heating was excellent which made for a comfortable stay.Normally the distance too town would not be a problem but we as had an elderly person with us she found a bit to far for to walk.All in all we would not hesitate to stay again.

Comfortable 3bedroom unit.

Comfortable 3 bedroom unit, clean and had everything that you needed when staying away. Close 10 minute walk to town. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay in Bright

Unit was fine for what we needed in terms of accommodation. I will say communication through Stayz was very poor in fact non-existent. I sent multiple messages all of which were unanswered. You do not find out that the property manager does not respond to messages until you get to the property and that they will only respond to phone calls. Save yourself some time and call the office . Window screens also need replacing, had a few bugs come in due to gaps in the screens.

It’s a quaint, beautifully presented home tucked away at the back of the block, offering a secluded outdoor living space as well as a shaded private garden. It is a short stroll from fabulous cafes, walks and all the action along the river.

Good honest accom.

Accom was functional and there was nothing to complain about. There were lots of rules and requirements from the property manager (eg sweep floors, clean benches, take out garbage etc… or you will be fined). There was no communication with the property manager and key pick up was 3pm and drop off 10am at the property managers address in town.

My only feedback is to provide written instructions on how to find it as google maps isn’t accurate. We spent half an hour trying to find it, asked a local neighbour, she said it happens every time someone checks into this address. Aside from this, very happy, would come back again & recommend. Cozy Place to stay

Autumn Grove 4 was very comfortable to stay in and a 5 minute drive to Bright town Centre. There was a lockup for a bike which was handy. The showers were beautifully powerful. Plenty of toilet paper and towels provided to each bedroom. Linen is provided as well and sample size soap and shampoo. The cooker tops works by holding your finger down on the buttons for a minute. Be warned if you go to Bright during week days most eating out/takeout closes by 9.30. Also if you go up mount Buffalo there’s no internet or toilets so make sure you go before you go.

Spacious place but poor facilities

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were first very happy with the property when we first entered until many more problems reveal itself. 1. Very poor pest control. I saw a cockroach in my room the very first night. That was less than one hour we enter the property, we did not bring any food into our rooms. Then there were many more cockroaches in the kitchen, despite we didn't leave any food scraps on the bench. 2. Poor hot water system. We had four people together in the property. There wasn't enough hot water for four of us. The third had to shower with ice-cold water after 2 minutes in. We didn't even take long showers at all. This is the first time i have had this problem without any warning from the host. And I've stayed at multiple properties at the towns around snow mountains where heater and hot water is very important. 3. The electrical stove didn't work for the pots provided. We stayed there for 3 nights, sent out an email asking about the stove on the first night (Friday), never got a reply till to date. I can't imagine there is no staff at all over the weekend to solve the matter as this is a holiday property. We couldn't cook for the whole trip and had to pay extra for dinner.4. There were portable heaters in each of the 3 rooms, only two of them worked. We were lucky that we didn't need all three during our stay. Despite this's property good location, i would not recommend it at all until pest control is done thourougly and replaced the heater and hot water system.

Great family rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was a great base for splitting our time skiing at Falls & Hotham. It was clean, well appointed, warm and comfortable. It is close to town and in a quiet fourplex. Bit hard to find in the dark but easy in the daytime. Beds and lounge were comfy. Kitchen has everything you need. Dining chairs might benefit from some cushions, but everything else was great.
