We had a wonderful time, and especially enjoyed the shady patio where we enjoyed all our meals with a view of the lake. The two bedrooms were comfortably cool for sleeping and both have ensuite bathrooms which are very convenient. The home is also very well stocked. The owners were very friendly and loaned us a few things to help us out, which we appreciated.

Great location right by the lake. Nice little beach with private dock. Lots of space with the 2 bedrooms being upstairs. Close to Oyama, Woodsdale and Lake Country for anything you need.We had a great time!

We had a wonderful weekend. The home is private and quiet and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the views were stunning. This is a great home base for a Kelowna/Lake country vacation.

WOODS LAKE NIGHTMARE - NOT AN OASIS AT ALL!!MISREPRESENTED LISTINGMajor physical barriers and poor upkeep!! This property is highly misleading for anyone with chronic illness or mobility constraints. The ad omits the steep exterior access stairs and the long driveway with no turnaround area, making navigation unsafe. Because of my fibromyalgia, it was physically impossible for me to stay here, and we left immediately after check-in and host offered she’d no issue giving us a full refund due to the inaccessible use of the stairs to enter the suite! Upon entering, we also found the interior poorly maintained. The suite had a heavy, musty odor, the staircase carpet was filthy, the kitchen island arborite was peeling off the corner, old furniture and the jetted tub had missing grout and black (mold?) in the jets. Though the owner verbally agreed to a full refund when we brought up the accessibility barrier, she went back on her promise and charged us for one night of our stay. Unprofessional management and a complete lack of integrity.VRBO said it’s their policy to withhold taxes, cleaning fee and platform fees because the host would not give us a full refund!The host said we should have asked more questions- but it’s up to the host to advertise properly. The ad says beach front which it clearly is not either! We have had many vacation rentals over the years and never had anything like this happen. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

This gem on Wood Lake is in a gorgeous location close to the amenities of Oyama, Lake Country, Kelowna and Vernon. The space is comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the outdoor space is perfect to soak in the beauty that the region has to offer. It was the perfect location for our girls trip! Geri was really helpful, and have us lots of tips. Highly recommend a stop at Oyama Sunblush Bakery, and Pane Vino Pizzeria during your stay. We truly enjoyed our trip!

Amazing location and wonderful home

The location is amazing - right above the biking trail and a short walk down to the lake! The home was great! Full kitchen, dining room, living room and two king sized beds - very comfy! Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!!

Last minute get away

My Husband and I booked this the week before. It was a beautiful spot over looking the lake. The suite is also located on a great trail, the Okanagan Railway Trail, which is great to walk on or ride your bikes. The suite is private, quiet and clean. We had a great time.

Property was easy to access from detailed instructions. Very friendly welcome from Geri. Spacious property with beautiful views across Wood Lake and orchard. Lovely local bakery. Very welcoming property.

Lake Oasis

Property was beautiful and private. Large deck with views of the lake and surrounding area. Although the suite is dated, it is spacious, in good condition and the owner is making updates regularly. Geri is wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend this suite.

We were two couples and enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Geri ensured we had everything at our disposal, so much so that we didn't leave the property for the entire time. Highly recommended.
