We enjoyed our stay Very clean and well stocked with newer pots and pans. our host Kimberly was prompt to answer questions and was quick to call back if we need anything
As advertised. Property is on the bay and has a nice balcony overoooking pool area and bay. Actually can see dolpins come in to a hot fushing spot just below you. Very safe and in proximity to beaches, shopping, and restsurants. Had a minor issue with the dryer vent but it was solved immediately after talking with service. Good stay and we will return.

Clean, comfortable, convenient location and lovely view of the bay - dolphin watching was a highlight! Well stocked kitchen and thoughtful kitchen supplies provided. Literally next door to Doc Ford's - good food and drinks, friendly service!

From the owner: "Thanks for the wonderful review.! It’s a terrific place and we’re happy you enjoyed your stay."
This condo was perfect for our anniversary trip! It was just what we needed and plenty of room. We loved having the beach chairs and umbrella and the kitchen was well stocked! Some minor things with areas being missed with cleaning. The cup holders in the couch having crumbs and some dishes being dirty but it was no big deal. Just an FYI the pool/hot tub closes at dusk so that was a bummer and wish it was disclosed. Our last day there, they shut the water off to fix a water main, so it inconvenienced us. But that’s nothing anyone could’ve controlled. Overall, it was a great stay and we enjoyed watching the dolphins in the morning!

Married Saturday OCT. 5TH, 2024 and spent that night and Sunday night...asked to evacuate Monday Oct. 7th, 2024 due to hurricane Milton expected to hit St. Petersburg, Florida and the damages of hurricane Helene everywhere at our condo's property. No pool or dock use because of hurricane Helene and boats/yachts landed on the property and in parking lot! Unit was beautiful and area very easy access to everything.

From the Owner: "Congratulations and very happy you chose our condo for such an important occasion! So sorry hurricanes Helene and Milton got in the way. Thanks for the kind words. Our condo came through without a scratch; Saint Petersburg is very resilient, and our complex almost has things back to normal; we’d love to have you back!"
If you’re considering heading to the west coast, this condo was just perfect. Great location, beautiful view of the bay, gorgeous sunsets, dolphins playing every day, comfy bed, great recliner, all the amenities you could want.
Groceries stores nearby, great restaurant within walking distance, and no complaints from anyone… except when we had to leave.
Communication was instant, Kimberly picked up phone immediately every time, and everyone was very flexible when we decided to stay one more night.
You won’t be sorry if you book here, and we’ll definitely be back.
Thanks!

Amazing View and perfect location!
My husband and I with our dog stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time. No words to describe sitting on the patio overlooking the bay and watching dolphins swim through sparkling water. A glass of wine and some of the most beautiful sunsets capped off each evening. The location is perfect for all the things we wanted to do. Friendly neighbors, great restaurant within walking distance across the parking lot - highly recommend! The pool is a very nice add on to enjoy each day for pool people (lots of sun!). The host is one of the best. She replied immediately to the few questions I had; again one of the best VRBO hosts I have had the pleasure to work with. Condo was the perfect size for my husband and I. We will definitely rent again if we return to the area.

From the owner: "Thanks so much! We would love to have you back. The guest contact is wonderful and it is so nice to have Doc Ford’s right next door. We appreciate the great review!"
On arriving everything seemed fine, but over the next few nights we had insect problems, while sleeping. Notified the host and she was great at getting the situation under control and also the owners reimbursed us 1 night for the inconvenience. With that the organization of beach chairs and mats and other outdoor equipment could be better organized, rather than being thrown behind the sofa in the living room. This was our first time renting a condo and we learned a lot and has made us a little reluctant on renting a condo again, as this situation shouldn’t have happened and made our stay not so great. But time will tell. All in all the owners and host were great.

Homeowner's Response: "Hi Debbie, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the insect issue during your stay. Our pest control service identified that ants had entered from a nearby tree, and we addressed the situation promptly by treating the tree and ensuring the issue was resolved. While this experience was not ideal, we want to reassure you that it is not typical of our property, as reflected in our other reviews.Thank you again for your review, and we hope you’ll consider staying with us in the future."
This extremely small condo is cluttered with big furniture with no room to unpack, hang clothes, store suitcases, store pantry items, dog bowls, beds, etc. It felt like a goodwill store! The pictures are misleading to say the least. The property is distressed with no walkable areas for pets. The area is also very congested and noisy…hardly like the description of dolphins playing. We had issues with the three remotes. The property manager was condescending telling us the instructions were on the table. Both tvs and fireplace were inoperable. After waiting close to an hour for someone to arrive for help (evening hours) we decided to leave. Losing over 1000. Stings big time! We have enjoyed staying in numerous rentals over the years. For us to leave the property speaks volumes to how disappointed we were. We clearly do not recommend this rental property.

Hi Nancy, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed this wasn’t the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- The condo is one of the largest one-bedroom units in the complex, featuring 1.5 bathrooms and offering more space than other one-bedroom condos in the area. There’s also a large closet, a dresser, and ample kitchen cabinet space for guest convenience.- The property is well-maintained and includes a dedicated grassy area for pets to enjoy.- The local property manager made every effort to assist with the TV remotes, which do have detailed instructions available. They also confirmed that the TVs and fireplace were working correctly after inspection. We’re sorry your experience fell short of expectations and appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

Excellent, Clean Getaway
Very cute condo with beach-themed decor, EXACTLY as seen in the listing photos. Immaculately clean. Plenty of things to do inside if you were stuck on a rainy day: TV, books, games, even binoculars for bird watching. Patio is lovely and has a nice view of the water. Something that stood out to me was that there was no question how to use anything in the apartment: all light/fan switches were clearly labeled and had remotes nearby. Furniture is comfy. Bar stools are not so tall that a short person has trouble getting in them (I'm 5'3 and I tested this haha). I consider myself an extremely picky person, and there was not one single thing about this place that was less than perfect. Even the community amenities were great: the hot tub was good and hot with good, strong jets. Pool was clean (I did not swim). Parking is very close to the building with 2 elevators and luggage carts you can use. Well-stocked with all the things you might need for a weekend away-or longer. The fridge even had complimentary water bottles. Really, everything was just amazeballs. The guest contact Kimberly was on point: I did have a few questions both before and during the stay, and she was responsive and friendly. ABSOLUTELY an amazing place!

Great Place to Escape!
I am the finickiest of the finicky about many things when I travel, and I am an avid reader and writer of reviews. Grab a cuppa and sit back, because this one's got some meat.First, I am mobility impaired, and to my pleasant surprise the parking lot was very close to the elevators. Short walk-win! Working elevators-2 of them-win! Luggage carts-win! Elevator entrance very close to entrance for pool and hot tub-win win!The walkway from the elevator to the unit was smooth and had railings. This is not, of course, within the homeowner;s control, but it is worth noting that if you use a cane or mobility aid like me, you will also have a sturdy railing to grab in case you wobble a bit.I am not familiar with using keypad door locks so that took a sec to get into the unit. I opened the door to a cool, exceptionally clean and fresh-smelling-but-not-overly-so home. Now let me start the picking apart. The floors-clean. Walls-clean. Countertops, flat surfaces, clean. I work in the travel industry and I cannot help but observe the little things because it is my job to do so from behind my desk every day. You know how some places you stay, well maybe it LOOKS ok but there's some dust between the fridge and the wall? Not here. Maybe a few scuff marks on the floor? Keep looking. Or how about that one chair that creaks when you sit in it? Nope. Not in this place. It was FABULOUS. Literally EVERY surface was immaculate. No dust on the ceiling fan. No swiping your finger across the tv stand and getting a little smudge. (I didnt do that, for the record, but everything literally GLEAMED).The furniture is comfortable enough and lived-in enough to be just right, but not old looking or faded. There's loads of stuff to do if you got stuck inside on a rainy day: games, books, etc. There were even complimentary water bottles left by the cleaning company and binoculars for watching birds or maybe the boats on the water. The bedroom and living area both open out to the balcony with your choice of chairs and tables. The unit is on sort of a corner, so it feels more private. I did sit there for a time and just enjoy the breeze. The outdoor amenities were in a gated area, but you get the code for this so again, private. Hot tub-my reason for booking- was GOOD AND HOT. I soaked away some tension under a sunny but mild Florida day. I did not use the pool, but Inspector Gadget me took a peek-crystal clear and clean. Nary a leaf to be found in it.The aesthetics of the place were amazing.
