Rosecliffe Boutique Farm Cottages is Noosa Hinterland nature retreat -farm stay with magnificent views & abundant wildlife. Rosecliffe is set 93 acres Rosecliffe bordering Woondum National Park Rainforest, perched hilltop above the rolling green hills of Pinbarren Valley with sweeping views extending across the Noosa Hinterland to the sea. Rosecliffe is in close proximity to a huge range of activities such bush walking, bird watching, mountain biking, weekend markets, surfing, swimming, antique shops, sightseeing, fine dining & canoeing, surfing, swimming beaches with turquoise waters, boutiques and restaurants.

Be surrounded by sounds and sights of nature. Rosecliffe is Land for Wildlife property and has a titled Conservation Preserve. It is a significant wildlife corridor linking Pinbarren and Woondum National Parks. Wildlife includes red necked-wallabies, squirrel & sugar gliders, pademelons, echidnas, koalas, black cockatoos, wedge-tailed eagles and many more rainforest bird species. We feed the wild birds daily and get an array of rain forest species visiting our feeders. At night you will be surrounded by a dazzling array of stars. A daybreak you will hear a chorus of singing rainforest birds welcoming the sunrise.

The farm stay has a truly beautiful saltwater waterfall infinity pool with spectacular views.

The Noosa Trails System is right at the entrance of the property and connects with over 400 km of purpose built trails wonderful for walking, bird watching and mountain biking. Sweeping views of the coast and ocean and the sentinel mountain of Mount Pinbarren National Park can be seen from most of the property and wildlife abounds. We provide you with Noosa Trail Map and a flashlight for nature spotting a night.

We invite you to join in with the daily feeding of the farm animals, collect eggs from the hen house.

The Melbourne Tram is dog friendly and suitable for 1 dog to stay. The Tram is securely fenced so your doggy will be secure to freely wander the living spaces but there is no yard in this area so your doggy will need to be walked. We ask that you keep your dog on leash when on the property.

The space
This Historic W Class Tram number 1004 was built in 1955 and ran the iconic St Kilda line until it was retired in 1992. With the assistance and guidance of Bendigo Tramways and the Newport Workshops, this tram has been lovely restored & is now fitted out in 1st class Railway saloon car style with overstuffed Victorian brocade couch, high backed claw foot bath tub, 1920's inlaid wooden bed and gentleman's wardrobe. The tram has a mahogany butlers kitchen and the toilet is located in the conductors cabin complete with driver's wheel.

A bottle of French Bubbly will be waiting for you in the fridge.

• Butlers kitchen with sink, bench top burner, mini oven and small fridge/
freezer. Stainless steel pots & pans, plates, cooking utensils, crockery &

• A starter pack of coffee pods, instant coffee, tea, sugar, milk and dish soap is supplied.
• Lounge area with brocade 3 seater sofa & Foxtel TV
• High backed claw foot bath. A toiletries starter pack is provided.
• The fully fenced undercover veranda area is fitted with a wine barrel bar, seating and a hooded BBQ.
• Private outdoor garden area under a huge old fig tree with seating & a chiminea fireplace ( first pail of firewood provided).

The Melbourne Tram stay was just what I needed. Quiet time away to detox from busy life.. the grounds are lovely & was nice to just wander at one’s pleasure. Great that my fur baby could stay also.

Absolutely superb!

I had a magnificent stay, I have been recommending it to anyone who will listen. The Tram is just as cute as the photos, really a unique place and done up really well. The pool and the view were so relaxing, also easy access to some hikes with amazing views. My dog loved this. Feeding the animals in the morning was fun Nadia has so much knowledge about them and they are so well cared for. Overall the stay was just perfect!

A perfect relaxation retreat

This quaint little cabin, and by cabin we mean fully decked out Melbourne tram with claw foot bath, was an absolute delight. Nadia was an absolute gem, even as going as far as returning items we forgot in the fridge. 100% would stay again, even if only for the miniature ponies. But you’ll also get lovely views by the poolside, or just a quick walk around the property. And fresh eggs!

I’d go back!

We loved our little escape; the rolling hills are a nice touch. The bed was a too small for my partner and I as we are over 6ft tall. The daily animal feeding is very sweet. The phone reception was quite terrible but thankfully I didn’t need to use my phone. The walk around the property is beautiful but our dog got a tick from a quick night walk. We thankfully had tweezers when we found the tick on his face the next day. Overall, we felt safe and happy. We particularly picked this property to stay at because it was pet friendly! We will go back again one day.

A glorious hidden gem

Pictures don't do this place any justice - it's truly gorgeous. The views are spectacular, especially from the pool area. Watching the sunrise over the valley was magical. The tram itself is lovingly restored and retains all its charm with luxurious amenities. Although it isn't well insulated, it never got too hot or cold for me (I think I came at the perfect time of year!) and I never had any issue with bugs. The animals were a beautiful highlight, and I was kept well stocked for eggs even when I couldn't join the morning feeding. Nadia and Paul have created a beautiful hidden gem, and I hope the new owners will continue their great work. Thank you again for your kindness!

Nice but perhaps not for winter!

The Melbourne Tram was interesting but pretty chilly despite reverse aircon due to the wind blowing in all the gaps! Despite that we enjoyed our stay and the scenery was superb. The access road isn’t the easiest and put us off going out at night. A few inaccuracies in the online description were a little frustrating. It says there is Foxtel but there isn’t. Only Austar and no free to air channels. On a winter trip this was annoying. No hairdryer - we would have brought our own had we known. We would return but probably to one of the larger properties where sitting in the winter sun would have been possible! We are Scottish and used to the cold but sadly a wee bit chilly for us! In summer it would be glorious and the pool looked amazing!

Under the beautiful ficus. A unique stay in a charming Melbourne tram on a farm shared with others.

The property and other accommodation is beautifully maintained. The horses, cattle, chickens, alpacas and lama a treat for children and adults. Thank you for the fresh eggs available daily. The ficus that covered the tram was especially lovely in the rain. Many native birds visited the tree. We saw kookaburras, sulfur crested cockatoos, bar shoulder doves, spotted turtle doves, koel, scrub turkey and his mound, galahs and even a large goanna. Nadia is a lovely host that had time to talk to her guests and share knowledge of the area.

We had such a fabulous time staying in the Melbourne Tram! Wonderfully presented with thoughtful touches such as chilled champagne & chocolates waiting. There were some awesome storms while we were up and we felt like we were on a murder-mystery set. The location & views are stunning, with great food options down at Pomona. We’ll certainly be back!

Stunning location, exquisitely beautiful accommodation

The Melbourne Tram exceeded our expectations. The bed and furnishings are beautiful and luxurious. The claw foot bath wonderful with bubbles and bubbly. The toilet in the conductors cabin is just brilliant. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace under the old fig tree, the amazing views on our drive up ( we stopped to take photos), the views from what be the most beautiful pool setting I have experienced ( sunrise at the pool is a must), the abundance of birds, the trails and many fine restaurants but a 10 minute drive away. The delivery of fresh eggs left for us in the morning was a real treat. A true hidden gem. Thank you Paul & Nadia.
