Great Hosts, great location and great accommodations!. This unit is exactly as pictured and described. Perfect for two people, super cute decor, quiet dead-end street, close to everything, saw deer every day and great communication with hosts Scott and Cindy. Been coming to this area for over 60 years, have stayed on Crystal Lake and surrounding area, if you're looking for a super clean, quiet location that's not on the water than give this place a try...you won't be disappointed!

Great location - away but close to town

Nicely decorated- remodeled- everything you need for your stay is there - had been vacant for several months - the air needed to be refreshed - would not hesitate to stay there again

Bright and airy located on a little trafficked road yet convenient to Frankfort. The snacks provided by the host were a welcome treat upon arrival. Very clean space with parking right outside the front door. Would certainly come back if needed a place in Frankfort

Prefer personal getaway spot

I was very impressed with how accurate the listing was. It was the perfect amount of space for me to relax but not feel as if I had more space than I needed. While I didn't use much in the kitchen, there was everything there I could have needed if desired. The bed was comfortable. Everything was spotless. I would definitely stay again.

Summer Getaway Vacation

We were looking for a place to stay and be close to the beach of Lake Michigan. It was a wonderful couples getaway. A place to rest and relax. A nice welcome note greeted us and the owners checked in on us midway during our stay. Very kind! We explored Frankfort, went down to the beach at sunset, drove up to Glen Arbor for some wine tasting and toured Point Betsie Lighthouse. Plenty to do in the 4-5 days we were there. Would enjoy coming back in the future!

Weekend Getaway

This apartment was cute, comfortable and cozy. Everything we needed in a vacation stay. The location was great to access to many lakes as well as the many restaurants on Main St, as well only approx. 40 miles to Traverse City. Our hostesses had the apartment very clean and everything that could possibly be needed was there, giving us a feeling of being at home.When we come back to the area we would love to stay here again if it is available. I would definitely recommended this apartment for anyone looking to travel to Frankfort, MI.

Amazing getaway

My husband and I were very pleased with everything from cleanliness, accessibility, and the items available for us to use. We were looking for a cottage/cabin like feel and we got it even though it is listed as an apartment. We had goodies ranging from breakfast bars, bite size candy bars, and more! The host was accommodating and super quick to respond. If we ever return to Michigan (from good ol TX) we will want to stay again.

Truly a Lovely Haven by the Lakes

Lovely space with close proximity to Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore area, quaint towns to explore, beaches, wineries, good restaurants, and lots of opportunities for exploring via hiking, biking, kayaking or just beautiful scenic drives. We so appreciated how clean, quaint, and well stocked this space was for our 4 day stay. They have thought of most anything you might need. Snacks and a welcome note were an extra special touch and also appreciated. Bed is comfortable, the skylights bring in lots of natural light, and the location is off the beaten path with little traffic, but very accessible to all the wonderful things this lake region has to offer. We would highly recommend this place!

Bright and clean. Great amenities, complete with personal note and treats. Close to the bike trail, downtown, and beach area. The only thing was the FEES. It is not clear when you book and then you get charged by EVOLVE. This is the only reason not to give 5 stars. These fees should be outlined in detail on the VRBO site, which is what I THOUGHT I was booking through.

Just as Advertised.

To be honest, we reserved the apartment mostly because of the numerous reviews saying how clean it was. And it was very clean. What the reviews didn’t say was how quiet it was. Located, as it is, on a dead end road for which there would be no other purpose of driving there other than to go to one of the few residences on Didrikson Road, the country environment is extremely quiet. There is no sound from the closest highway. The unit is comfortable, parking is literally in front of the door, and the amenities were as promised. Still, it is very close to the trailhead and almost as close to Frankfort. There are likely scores of other choices in Frankfort and/or closer to the beaches; however, I can’t imagine them being as peaceful or, of course, anywhere near as clean. Also, if you have a bike, the access to town could not be easier.

Comfortable and Quaint

We enjoyed our stay at this cute, very clean apartment! It is the perfect size for two people. There are no steps to climb and has its own parking spot right by the front door. We appreciated being close to downtown where there were many good restaurants yet we had a quiet place to unwind at night. Beautiful area to explore!!

Cozy Cottage

It was a perfect spot to enjoy Frankfort. We were able to get to the beaches, spend time shopping downtown and hiking close to our vacation home. It also offered an environment that was quiet when we just needed to relax.

We came up for our anniversary to get away from it all. You most defined can get away from everything up here. We found new beaches, hikes and views. The view never gets old!

Welcome, hospitality and location!

We had a super visit, location was super, down the street from Betsie Trails, hosts were SO welcoming and went above and beyond, and it was so clean! We felt special!
