Good location, nice amenities, but cleanliness needs more attention

We enjoyed our stay. Good amenities, the kids had a blast, and location was nice and quiet. However, the condo wasn't clean when we arrived. Sand everywhere, and a lot of dust on every surface. The kitchen floor is deplorable. You can tell this property has been an investment property for many years. I don't think I would come back here, but I would stay at the resort again.

Dirty and broken, old - huge disappointment

ocean reef has great staff especially restaurant for breakfast which was delicious. check in was easy. Huge pool area for kids and beach access awesome! Now for the real room review: find a different place to stay or book through the resort only- we called property manager Nikki once we walked in and saw all the issues- handle on balcony sliding glass door fell off when we touched it, looked like it had been rusted and broken for a while, never got fixed during stay although Nikki told me it would be. That was huge inconvenience- It was locked and shut. She mentioned having maintenance come look but call us first to make sure timing was ok but she sent them in anyways when we were out and didn’t know- our personal items could have been stolen or tampered with and we had no control! Also, stains on the furniture, food, dirty straw and wrappers in/on the couch & chair, more than half the lights did not work, the hallway bathroom toilet was running when we got there and finally got it to work but the broke again, did not provide plunger. There was rice in the burners and stains through the stove top, and the old coffee pot was rusted and looked like it would cause a fire if I used it, plus stains on it that should have been cleaned off. We found a glass chip on the floor in the kitchen , we had to wear our shoes the entire time. The balcony had not been vacuumed so carpet was filthy. Huge stain on king bed in suite room. Very disappointed we paid for this.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-The damages were made by previous guest who checked out on the same day-The bathroom was fixed on same day, the door handle had to be ordered and has since been replaced-A partial refund was made to remedy the situationWe always work with both guests and homeowners when issues arise and apologize that we were unable to come to the resolution you were hoping for based on the documentation provided. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Picture dont tell true story

Furniture in living room needs updating. Chairs and sofa had stains all over them. Tv was broken in first bedroom. It was reported but not fixed during stay. Wall lamp in first room was broken off wall and has large stain on shade. On third day lamp was mounted back on wall by repairman. Toliets were not adequately clean around rim. Living room tv had no remote cobtrol had to alternate remotes from other Tvs. The Balcony was very filty with trash and food crumbs. Owner sent cleaning girl on third day to vaccum. I had to call several days after getting there to get anything addressed. It was not fair to me and my company to endure this ordeal with no one trying to see could how we could be recompensated for these inconveniences.

Great Place!

When we arrived we called and got the code immediately. We walked in and it was very clean. There were plenty of towels for all four of us. The resort was good just very busy. It's almost impossible to get a chair at the pool to tan. However they have more chairs away from the pool. We would definitely stay here again.
