Thank you for your 5 star rating. We are so glad you were comfortable and able to relax during your stay.
The stay was very pleasant and the host was accommodating. It wasn’t super obvious in the initial booking that this was intended to be an “unplugged” location so plan ahead if you want Wi-Fi, a tv, consistent cell service, etc. if you do need anything during the stay other than what’s listed above, the host is quick to respond and help.

From the owner: "Thank you for your review. I’m glad you had a pleasant stay and that you felt well accommodated. The listing describes the property as being unplugged, provides further details later in the description, and reiterates this in the pre-stay information. We’re moving the note upward in the listing to make it clearer and will also add that there is no TV and that cell service may be inconsistent. We appreciate your feedback so we can continue raising the bar for future visitors."
Perfect little getaway from the chaos of the world. Perfect spot to enjoy nature, fish, hike and relax. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful and made sure everything was perfect. Will be back again.
It is perfect for a true getaway. I recommend stopping by the grocery store to get food necessities if you’re wanting to cook while there.

Awesome Place Near Cooperstown!
Our experience was great! My son and I came up for a trip to Cooperstown to see the baseball hall of fame! The house was clean and relaxing! You could hear the water from the creek from the front door! We fished and skipped rocks and relaxed! Everything you could want in quiet retreat. We will for sure be back! Thanks!!

Thank you for the five star review. It warms my heart to hear you found our place relaxing and were able to enjoy father son time. Thank you for choosing our cabin by the creek. I hope you are able to stay again sometime.
We wanted a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy life. This place was perfect for 2 with everything you could possible need available. Lots of outdoor activity things to do: hiking, fishing, bonfire. Landlords were not only available 24/7, they personally made sure we were all set and made us feel welcomed. Will definitely be back again.
Everything was wonderful! It was clean and comfortable and I look forward to staying here again. The only down side was the lack of communication with Evolve Travel. It took them 72 hours to respond to a message. The hosts themselves were wonderful and went above and beyond by having single serve juice and water in the cabin. Totally unexpected but very much appreciated.

Thank you for the kind review. My husband and I take great pride in our cabin. We are glad you appreciated the cold beverages. I am sorry the communication with Evolve was slow. I have contacted them for an explanation. We would love to have you stay again.
We loved our stay in this amazingly cute cabin. It had everything we needed and more. Ray and Rena did such a great job converting and decorating this old hunting cabin. Eclectically chic. Loved the sinks and cute little corner dresser.
Each night, after a day of exploring, we looked forward to a shower of never-ending hot water. Very much appreciated!
We would have loved to have spent more time here and enjoyed a fire out by the creek. Unfortunately, we were too busy sightseeing. Did enjoy star gazing, though.
We went for a long weekend. The house was perfect.
We enjoyed our time immensely. My husband and I played the board games, sat by the pond and enjoyed the area. The hosts thought of everything, they had toothbrushes with tiny toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner and soap. Would definitely recommend to any couple to unplug and relax.
We loved our stay at this adorable, quiet place in NY. Your surrounded by rolling green hills, the pond and firepit are so lovely to sit by in the evening. I did yoga by the pond in the morning and it was wonderful! The hosts are kind and courteous. We got a little bit of history about the property from them and a warm welcome. We recommend this sty to anyone wanting a quiet country experience.

Super Hosts Here!
I stayed at “Cabin by the Creek”
for the saddest of all visits and found peace in its complete comfort and beauty. Rena and Ray are the perfect hosts and have painstakingly renovated and decorated this once hunting lodge into a very functional and therapeutic getaway. I most appreciated sitting beside the trickling pond in the outdoor chairs, the comfy plush bed, well appointed kitchen and bath and the attention to providing unexpected small comforts and amenities. I wish you both much success in hospitality. I think you should get a “super host” designation already! Thank you for welcoming me.
"Hi Candy, thanks for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at the property. If there is anything we can do to provide a 5-star experience, please don't hesitate to reach out!"
