Walk to Lake & Downtown: Hot Tub and Game Room

Hi Kara, we're so glad you enjoyed this property! We want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors like the snow are simply out of our control. When our guest contact heard from you, they notified the plow company right away. The driveway was cleared a few hours later. Our snow plow service handles many properties, and after a storm it takes them time to service all the homes. To ensure the home is fully prepared for our guests, we have left shovels and large buckets of salt by all walkways, entry points, the game room, and the steps leading down to the hot tub. There are also anti slip mats leading down all the steps to the deck, game room, and hot tub. The maintenance staff shovels the path leading to the game room and hot tub weekly. - The listing does state that the game room is only accessible from the deck, but we are sorry if this caught you off guard. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs. - We strive to be transparent with our guests at every stage of the booking process and break down all rates and fees before the reservation is confirmed. Additionally, our cleaning fee is set based on our maximum occupancy of 10 guests as well as the sanitization of the hot tub in-between reservations. - Thanks for your feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!
