House was nice. Had everything that we needed. The only thing we weren’t pleased with is the WiFi. You might as well get rid of the streaming and just put a dvd player and movies because the streaming is pretty much non existant

The Fosters

The accommodations were very nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed being able catch a sizable number of fish from the covered boat dock on the property. We intend on visiting the there again in the future.

Beautiful house, lots of space for parking, nice rooms bathrooms, kitchen, covered patio, a covered dock with lift straps. Somewhat hard to find at first. Enjoyed the stay.

Wonderful time at the lake

Lovely spot. Private and quiet, well appointed and spacious kitchen. Could use some better internet, and some nice outdoor chairs to sit at the water. Would be nice if a simple Kayak or Canoe to use too. Will be back!

This place was super nice, we will definitely go back. Wifi is crazy slow so if you are a tv watcher this isn't the place. Other than that we had no issues at all with the place

Awesome house. Loved spending time on the dock! Great place to unplug! House is very well stocked. You feel "at home" as soon as you walk in the door! Will be back for sure. 4th time at Toledo bend, best house for sure!

Baton Rouge Locals

Property was private and beautiful. Everything was provided for a comfortable long weekend getaway. Close to state park and boat launch. Close to restuarants, grocery store and tackel store. Great communication with property manager. Susie went above expectations to make sure we had everything we needed. Will keep this property in our list of favorites for future stays.

Relaxing and Adequate

The site manager was honest and excellent when communicating. The home was dated and many amenities were not functioning. The location was quite and relaxing. However, the cove we were setting in had a low water level and fishing was not good in the immediate area. The pricing was fair, in line with the accomidatinons. I would recommend this lake home for a guy's trip but, not family (wives).

Weekend Getaway

The home was clean and everything we needed was provided. The views of Toledo Bend lake and the property were excellent. The only complaint was that the internet and TV did not work the entire time we were there. I texted the owner and she said to unplug and allow to restart, and i did this 4-5 times with no results. We are huge sports fans and could not watch anything.

Amazing

Everything about this property was awesome. The beds were very comfortable. The showers were hot and the water was so soft. We especially loved the lake access had a beach area so when we didnt want to use the boat we could still enjoy the water. I guess that depends on the water level. The property had several acres with a huge fire pit and complete privacy. Other posts talked about adding a ladder, i'm here to say they listen to their customers and a ladder was added, that was a huge asset. The gentlemen that added the ladder was also very nice and offered very specific directions to great fishing spots. Our host Marsha was even better. She answered all of our questions and help when we needed help. She came and introduce herself, we talked for a while but then she left us to our family vacation. We appriated that the most. We wanted to invite her and her husband for a shrimp boil but it didnt work out. We will seek to stay at more of her properties.
