We had an absolutely lovely time staying at Indy’s cottage! Exactly what we needed for a reset weekend. The place is impeccably kept and well-stocked, the views are beautiful, it’s isolated and peaceful, and Indy had excellent communication. :) Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit!

This is a really superb property located right on the lake. The owner has plenty of outdoor space and sitting areas including a fire pit and a gas fire table! We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and seeing the beautiful fall colours reflected in the lake. A short beautiful drive to Algonquin for a hike with our dog! Perfect!

The property was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was in a good location close to the grocery store to go out to grab stuff. And we had lots of space to hangout and enjoy the weekend

We very much enjoyed our stay at Indy's cottage! As a host, Indy was attentive, prompt in her responses, and accommodating to our needs. The online photos do not do the property justice. The cottage itself was clean, cozy yet stylish and well equipped with everything we could possibly need (e.g., cookware, oils, spices, paper products, throw blankets, indoor and outdoor towels, etc.). Our 17 year old daughter and her friend absolutely loved having their own space downstairs as well as the use of the paddle boards! The outdoor space with its multiple gathering spaces and spectacular landscaping are a true oasis! We loved exploring the Lake of Bays using our boat (which was easily launched from a nearby park) and the character filled town of Dorset! Now that we are back home, I long for the hours I spent sitting on a muskoka chair on the dock, listening to the waves lapping, reading a book and sipping a glass of wine... it just doesn't get any better than that! We would return to Indy's cottage in a heartbeat!

This is a great cottage. It was equipped with everything you need and more. It was clean and well maintained. Lots of seating areas outside whether you want shade or sun. It is within walking distance to town which has restaurants and stores to get whatever you need. I highly recommend this spot. The whole family enjoyed it. The host Indy was great as well. Very quick to respond to any questions I had.

Great Family Cottage

Love this place. Checks all our boxes…great view, big dock, lots of water toys and enough space for 2 families. Indy is great, quick to reply and the cottage is always super clean.

Nicely laid out cottage with walkouts on both levels. Lots of outdoor areas for dining and hanging out. Good water access from dock or shore.

Beautiful cottage

We had a wonderful time staying at Indy's cottage over Thanksgiving weekend. The fall colours were absolutely stunning. The location is ideal, whether you're looking to explore Algonquin on foot or enjoy a round of golf in Huntsville. The cottage is spacious, well-designed, and offered plenty of outdoor and indoor space. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and Indy kindly accommodated us with early check-in and late check-out. Indy was incredibly responsive, quickly fixing a dishwasher issue when it clogged. There's even a small desk inside if you need to get some work done during your stay. Kayaks got a work out, and those dock chairs were well used too! Beautiful stay!

Beautiful cottage

I don't usually bother doing reviews. However, this cottage was lovely and exactly as described. Beautiful view of the lake and in a great location between Algonquin park and Huntsville. Host is lovely to communicate with. Hope to return!

Excellent cottage experience

We had an excellent stay as a family with four children ranging from 14 to 8. The cottage was clean and a good usable space inside and outside, communication with the host was spot on. The location was brilliant, we explored a bit but mostly made use of the lake and equipment provided. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would not hesitate to book again.

Fabulous Location

We stayed as a family of 6 adults with two dogs and the property couldn’t have been better for us! Great waterfront and views (even better than photos). Check in was a breeze and we were generously offered both early check in and late check out which was greatly appreciated. They also provided 3 large water refills, a generous amount of toilet and paper towel tissues, beach and bath towels, laundry detergent etc. All instructions to use devices were clearly explained in print outs and a binder for reference. We will definitely book again!

Trading Bay Cottage

We loved the property. We enjoyed that had just about everything you would need to enjoy a relaxing weekend. It was right on the highway which was perfect when we got a foot of snow. The host plowed the same day so we had access to the road. The host was always available and quick to respond to all questions.

Great Location and Beautiful Property

My wife and a couple of our friends wanted to have a short getaway and this property did not disappoint! We had 3 beautiful days away and the location and amenities helped amplify the stay. Trip to Dorsey

Really nice place, sleeping areas were really nice also kitchen and living area. The outside area was amazing, lots of things to do. Overall Indy has a great spot for short or long vacation.

Family get away

Beautiful cottage with all the supplies. Had a wonderful time exploring with the kayaks & paddle boards on site, and swimming off the dock. Nice and close to Dorset for quick stops to the store and restaurants!

Most beautiful cottage

This is the second time we have stayed here. And there is a reason we will continue coming back. The cottage is so well equipped and wonderfully laid out. We tend to have the older adults upstairs and the younger adults and teens hang out in the lower level. The property is absolutely stunning and there are so many wonderful places to sit in the sun, out of the sun, under the gazebo (when it rains) . The views everywhere are gorgeous. It is truly heaven and we had a wonderful time. Thank you

Great Property and Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. We spent a lot of time fishing from the large dock. Property is minutes from amenities like Main Street Dorset, Pizza on Earth and the Lookout Tower. The property manager is very responsive and the whole rental process went smoothly.
