This Lakefront beach house is located in the heart of Rockaway and is just a few blocks from beach access. This home is perfect for the next family vacation and offers new renovation and comfortable accommodations with stunning lake views!

You'll enjoy preparing meals in the homes newly remodeled bright kitchen or relaxing in the airy living room. Beautiful hardwood floors follow the homes main level and flow into the Queen Primary bedroom. You'll be sure to enjoy the homes remodeled master bathroom, equipped with a calming jacuzzi tub to help unwind from the busy day. One the homes lower level you will find a large kids bedroom with three twins, an upper loft offer additional sleeping with a queen futon.

Outside is a spacious deck with patio furniture giving plenty of room for entertaining, relaxation and exploring – great for kids and pets! Look at night for the bats to depart from the trees and put on a show over the lake. Guests and locals alike love watching them and are grateful they help manage those pesky lake mosquitos! With easy beach access just a short walk from the front door and the conveniences of town just a short walk away, Lakefront Beachhouse offers a family retreat everyone is sure enjoy!

Note: The glassfront of the house is a passive solar heating room not a living space.

Steps away from the beach

It was amazing, quick little walk and your toes were in the sand, we even got to see a few dear and elk In the driveway. Perfect little get away if you’re looking for a little “quite” trip to the beach. Check in and out process was quick and easy.

Disappointment

I was very disappointed with the stay. The grounds were very overgrown and unappealing. Half the reason I booked this property was because it stated it was lakefront and was advertised as if there was a nice pathway built to access the dock at the end of the property. This was not the case. The path was closed off and overgrowth claimed the path back. The house felt much smaller than the advertised square footage. While the inside of the house itself was nice, the overall condition left much to be desired, especially with the money paid for this rental. I would not recommend.

Good location, close to to the beach!

We stayed for a few nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was clean and cozy. There were a few things that could have improved our stay. There is a strong 'wet' smell I'm sure that is hard to get rid of being so close to the lake and ocean... Since the heater couldn't heat the entire house, we used the wood stove (which we loved!) The problem was there was not lighter or matches... we left our BBQ lighter in the kitchen drawer for the next guests! The main bed was too soft and uncomfortable. Lastly, we could not watch any TV- only DVDs - which would be okay, but wasn't sure that was clear in the listing. Overall, we had a nice stay. The location was great and it has a nice view of the lake.

Simple stay

The property is need of clean up. The master bedroom bed is just simply awful. To charge what is charged there should definitely be better bed options in all the rooms. While we did enjoy our quick trip. The kitchen pans are also in need of an update to truly enjoy the home. The only entrance to the “Lakefront “ was closed and said no entrance. Not my most favorite of rentals.
