Had a great stay at Boho Lakehouse. Was plenty of room for our mixed generation and family of 12. Great quiet lake and close to Parry Sound and Port Carling for grocery runs or lunch spots. We do love to cook as a family and had to bring and supplement what was provided in the kitchen - including large pots and skillets, additional cooking utensils, cutting boards, and spices. But Ross was able to send pictures ahead of time so we knew what to bring. If you like to cook definitely consider bringing your own items and you won’t be disappointed. For those sleeping in the basement make sure to bring long pants and sweatshirts because it is very chilly - no problem for us and the kids that stayed down there. Overall great stay and would highly recommend!

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
This property was unfortunately oversold and did not meet our expectations, particularly regarding cleanliness. Our group noticed a lack of basic supplies-there weren't enough towels or glasses, there were no blue bins for recyclables, and the green bin on-site contained garbage. The grounds also had scattered litter. The driveway was steep and riddled with potholes, and the deck was in serious need of repair. This was disappointing given the owner's description of themselves as "zen travelers" who cherish and the love the space. The promotional materials were far more inviting than the actual property. As a long-time VRBO traveler who has stayed in properties around the world, I feel guests should be given an accurate picture upfront. My suggestion: put the same care and “TLC” you speak of in your pamphlet into the property itself-it would make the experience far more aligned with what’s advertised. Even reinvesting the revenue from one week's rental into upkeep and repairs would make a world of difference.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is fully equipped with everything you need and the view of the lake is beautiful. The hosts were great with communication and when we had a minor problem with the dishwasher they were quick to act and also extended our checkout time. We highly recommend this home as a great getaway!
A great holiday. Easy to reach host if questions. Lay-out of cottage is amazing. Beach is good. Large dock can hold chairs for 10 people. Grandson ,4, caught rock bass right off dock. Quiet lake with much of it as treed shoreline. Plenty of equipment for kids like paddle boards, canoe, foosball ping pong. Nice deck to sit on with plenty of chairs. A pleasant stay.
Our family had a fun time at this beautiful cottage. We made good use of the watercraft available and enjoyed soaking up the sun on the dock. Our grandsons especially loved the fooseball table and pinpong table. There were even girl toys that our granddaughter played with. We have a large family so it was a challenge trying to fit refrigerated items in the one kitchen frig. Availability of a bar frig would have been a help. Towels are provided which is great but explaining on the cottage website where they can be found in the house would be a help. Overall this cottage is a very good location for a large gathering or family vacation. Ross was an excellent host answering inquiries promptly.

First of all, Ross and Manelli are wonderful. Very professional, and friendly. They ensured we'd have a great stay through their detailed brochures and check-in requirements/process. Any questions we had were answered promptly.
The property itself is simply wonderful. You can tell it's a home they care for deeply, so it feels even nicer knowing they're willing to welcome you into it. There is everything you could ever need for a cottage stay with good people. Foosball table, board games, comfy mattresses (and many of them too), dock with a serene view, well stocked kitchen, and the list goes on.
We had a great time here, loved the place, and all agreed that we'd easily come back here in the summer (we visited during Christmas holidays) if opportunity works out.
Thank you Ross and Manelli for welcoming us, and opening your family getaway for other families to enjoy as well =)
