Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Be sure to catch a Pirate Show with the resort’s own Red Beard the Pirate.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

Palm Island Resort has always delivered as a retreat from real world pressures and stress and is great for family fun. We hope to return soon to find this special spot unchanged and still moving at island speed.Cheers!

The rental fit our needs perfectly. The only reason for the star retraction is due to the bedroom on the first floor. The linens all needed rewashed. There was a strong Oder to the linens and pillows.

Island get away

We stay at Palm Island every year, and our only negative this year would be that when we rent a villa the rental includes the entire unit. The upstairs bedroom was closed off.... Also, the hubby and I had to give us our king room because the 2nd bedroom downstairs wasn’t the one with the king.... Makes more sense to have both kings on the main floor :) other than those two minor things, we loved every minute on the island as we do each year. When we got there, the unit was dirty, so we had to clean. Evidently the group before us left the home filthy. We always love the space the villas provide, and this units location to the pool and beach access were one of the best.

Relaxing Don Pedro Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on Don Pedro many times and a number of times at Palm Island Resort. The 3 BR unit was clean and spacious and has a fantastic ocean view and little private deck. This was just a getaway for the two of us so we were not looking for anything overly fancy this time. The condo is dated but well maintained and was good value, location and amenities are top notch. Very happy overall. The staff at Palmisland is helpful and top notch. Very customer friendly and pleasant.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 18th year staying with you and we have seen many changes thru the years. Glad to see you now offer this review option. We were happy to see your storm repairs are coming along and really didn't present any conflicts with our stay. The unit was clean & well stocked. The unit issues seem to mostly be the same throughout the years, refrigerator & AC not properly cooling and WiFi connectivity not good. This time the upstairs level AC was not functioning upon our arrival and would only cool down to 72 deg. which at the upper level & in the July heat is not ideal. The AC did get repaired the following day. Our WiFi was sporadic & although attempts were made to fix it; it was never truly corrected. The refrigerator didn't cool, door wouldn't suction properly to the trim rubber seal. Finally, the Living Rm. furniture was stained and tired. But the Palm Island staff remains top notch, especially Katey, she was great !
