Wonderful location and home

There was a ton to do within a few blocks of the house - coffee shops, restaurants, even a concert venue that we checked out.

Outstanding rental

This rental had everything we were looking for during our Philly stay. Excellent location, adorable interior with all the amenities and just as described in the listing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The location was perfect and the check in process was smooth. Colleen gave excellent instructions and you could tell she loved her home and wanted her guests to enjoy their stay. The decor was charming, and fit the historic home perfectly. The neighborhood was residential but still close to shops and restaurants. The stairs were manageable for us, but if you had children or older folks traveling with you, they might be tough to navigate. If mobility isn't an issue, you should be fine. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable. There was a portable air conditioner in the room that would blow cool air over you as you slept, but it also blew warm air out of the back of the unit. I was very comfortable as I slept, but when I woke up, I discovered it raised the temperature of the room as a whole. I would recommend opening the window instead. Otherwise, everything exceeded our expectations. Over all we loved the property and I would stay again.

Perfect Philly Adobe

Everything about this lodging is great and unique to Philly. The location is fabulous, everything is clean and comfy, the place is well-appointed, and the charm of the Trinity House-style can not be beat.

Perfect for our needs. This is a historic home and the accessibility reflects that fact (the stairs are steep!) but all information was accurately conveyed prior to booking.

Philly Getaway

We loved our time here! After a delay in our flight, we arrived later than expected, but Colleen helped us check in with ease. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed! It was as described, and there were great restaurants and sites nearby. We’d love to come back again!

Great easy stay, small stairs, fantastic bed! Shades for skylights in bedroom would be nice. Food and drinks close by which was great but also Friday night party goers were a bit loud. Easy access walking distances to historic places was fantastic! Seriously LOVED the bed, very comfortable! I would stay again for sure!

Great time! Everything was perfect but the stairs.

We're both about 250lb. I would say getting to the basement was pretty hairy for me. Maybe bigger people wouldn't be able to fit so well. Just take a look at the stairs in the picture and visualize like half the size. If you don't need to access the kitchen at all then it won't matter. We had a great time here. It's just as described. Thank you!

Amazing stay!!!The home is adorable. Much smaller than it seems from the pictures. Despite being small it’s very well put together. Very cozy and clean. The master bedroom was definitely my favorite room in the house. The natural light from the skylights along with the comfortable bed was just heavenly. The kitchen is very small and has everything you would need. It’s almost like being in a luxurious cave, really cute. The stairs I must say are challenging . They are steep and small. It’s definitely a workout if you are able. Just go slow and you will be fine. I would not recommend coming with small children due to the space and stairs. This was the PERFECT spot for our anniversary. Definitely a cozy romantic vibe. You can walk everywhere to get anything. We will add this property to our regular rotation of fun getaways.

What a wonderful way to describe your stay, and we're so glad the home delivered the cozy, romantic vibe you were hoping for on your anniversary. The master bedroom really is special with all that natural light, and it's great to hear the kitchen had everything you needed despite its size. We were going for an old tavern feel, but love your description! We appreciate you mentioning the stairs so future guests know what to expect, and it's true they call for a bit of caution. Being able to walk everywhere is such a perk of this location. Knowing this will be part of your regular getaway rotation means a lot to us. You are always welcome back!
