Lovely apartment with huge sunny garden in the heart of Yarraville Village.
Location is superb if you want to be in the heart of Yarraville Village. In 2020 Yarraville was voted the World’s 5th coolest hood. It’s buzzy, vibrant and with its restaurants, the famous Art Deco Sun Theatre and village atmosphere it’s attracts people from all over Melbourne keen to hang out in this unique inner city hood.
Fully self-contained one bedroom apartment with large sunny garden with outdoor table and umbrella and BBQ.
The apartment is only a 5 minute walk to the heart of charming Yarraville Village so no need for a car. Perfect to rent for a single or couple (and with a child) wanting to be in the heart of the Village with access to all the Village has to offer and minutes to Melbourne CBD by train.
The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarket’s, Sun Theatre and Yarraville train station.
Train is 5 stops or 13 minutes to Southern Cross Station in the centre of Melbourne CBD or 10 minutes by car.
The apartment has a full kitchen with Miele dishwasher, induction cooktops, electric oven, stainless benches, Bosch front loader washing machine, full size fridge, open plan living dining with dining room table for 4 guests, two TVs, one located in the lounge room (Smart TV with preload apps such as Netflix etc. A second, TV (not a Smart TV) is mounted on the wall in the bedroom.
Polished floorboards throughout and split air conditioning /heating and nicely decorated with interesting artwork, large Natuzzi modular leather lounge suite.
Apartment is well equipped with cooking utensils, wine glasses and crockery. All you need to cook up a lovely meal during your stay.
The apartment has one large bedroom with a double bed and built in robes. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. Beautifully furnished, light bright and open plan it’s an ideal stay for a single or couple.
A single bed mattress can be supplied for a 3 guest child/teenager or a portacot if visiting with a baby.
A large sunny rear backyard with outdoor table, sun umbrella and BBQ are for the exclusive use of those renting the apartment.
The apartment has wireless NBN. No parking on the property but the apartment is located in a quiet and safe street with plenty of free on street parking available.
House Rules No parties No smoking inside and no pets Breaches of any of the above will result in the forfeiting of the security bond. Cleaning fee does not include the BBQ and must be cleaned to prior to vacating or additional cleaning fee will be charged.
It was a pleasant stay and my family loved it, provided with all the stuff needed for a short stay.

This apartment was ideal for our three week stay, catching up with our son and his young family based in Footscray. The location is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the station with its quick links into the city, and nearer still to the vibrant centre of Yarraville village, definitely our favourite suburb.The apartment is light and spacious (bigger than we expected) with a charming seventies vibe, very comfy bed, huge sofa, and a well equipped kitchen with excellent appliances. Good aircon and hot showers when needed, and all very clean and well maintained.The garden was a great amenity, with big BBQ and shaded picnic table, and large grass area to relax with our toddler grandson.Louise was a very communicative and efficient host and we enjoyed meeting her.I thoroughly recommend the property and look forward to returning in the future.

Stay in Yarraville
Louise was a terrific host, responding to my texts, and request instantaneously. The back apartment was spacious, clean, and very private with the entire backyard to relax during the warm, sunny days there. The washer made it very convenient and being so close the transportation, eateries, and even a theatre, made my stay very pleasurable. I hope to be back when I get an opportunity.

Firstly, this survey assumed we stayed in a National Park, we didn’t!The overall impression we have is that the property has been run on a shoe string, one off dilapidated Everything is old poor quality and in need of replacement. The description implies it will sleep 3 adults. This was a key deciding factor for us but we found that apart from one double bed there is no other provision for a third adult to sleep on!The photos are hugely deceptive it’s run down and a depressing space to be in.

Jeff, to say I’m shocked by your review is an understatement.
You stayed 7 nights from 26-31 Dec and did not contact me once to say the property was terrible, dilapidated and furniture in need of replacing or to get a refund for your stay.
Furthermore, you booked and paid for two guests only, an extra bed is only provided when 3 are staying. This clearly outlined in the listing.
Very odd you’d feel the need to raise this as a negative when your booking was for two and you had use of exactly what you booked and paid for.
You did not pay for a 3rd bed hence one wasn’t provided.
Even more odd is not contacting me for a refund if the apartment was as “terrible, dilapidated and run on a shoe string” as you claim.
I had a couple leave two days before you arrived and I received a 9/10 review from them on a competitor’s website that starts with Air.
No mention of any of the adjectives you use to describe the apartment in their review just very happy and pleased with their stay and my communication as a host.
Your review is not geniune or honest. I have nothing less than 9/10 on the competitor website.
I have no idea why you’d be motivated to write such a damaging review when I had no communication from you whatsoever during your stay.
If the property was as bad as you’ve stated, you surely wouldn’t have stayed and instead contacted me to raise your grievances and ensure you received a full refund.
But you didn't.

Nothing at all as photo suggests grubby and cold .faulty heat pump was told it would be repaired in 6 days following our our arrival No lovely garden but a view of a derelict house and and an abandoned carPillows hard and old . A set of grubby plastic covered laundry drawers in bedroom bench dirty even crumbs around the toaster !wifi satisfactory owner offered refund . We left the next morning!
