The house was nice and fit our needs. However the pictures on the VRBO site were not accurate. Kitchen cabinets were well worn, yard was in need of some TLC., and paint color showed a lighter color when in fact it was darker shade with some little dings that needed touch up. Neighbor, two doors down , is not a very nice/friendly man.

This was quite honestly the best birthday ever. The home was perfect for my husband friends and fur-babies! The hot tub made the whole experience feel elevated and exploring the area was so memorable. So good that we all agree we wouldn't hesitate to return! Keep it up Love Leavenworth

Norling's House: Country & Town In One!

Norling's House is spacious and in a beautiful setting! Only a 10 minute bike ride to town. Enjoy!

Location of the house was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking essentials. Everyone agreed that the beds were comfortable. Back room on top floor was a bit hotter than the rest of the house. They did provide a box fan that helped some. (Just open windows in the evening upstairs to create a breeze to cool it down) The only issue we had was on the first day with the aggressive neighbor two houses up. The owner helped defuse the situation and everything was great after that. Over all I would stay at the Norling House again.

Close to downtown Leavenworth

Norling Haus, conveniently located near downtown Leavenworth, was a breeze to reach. The charming house offered comfortable beds and furniture, and the garage was a delight with its pool table, foosball table, and darts set. However, the darts set was incomplete, missing five darts and having a few broken ones. It would be great to replace them with new ones.In terms of cooking, the kitchen was well equipped with the exception of medium sized sauce pans, they only had small and a single large 12-quart pot. There was no sink soap dispenser for washing dishes, and the only available dishwashing solution was a 2-quart bottle from under the sink. A small bottle by the sink would have been a convenient addition.My biggest complaint was the 10 piles of large dog poop left in the backyard. Before my two Pomeranians and myself could safely explore the backyard, I had to pick up the poop with poop bags. While there were guidelines for pets and a note on the refrigerator about excessive dog hair, there was no mention of dog poop in the backyard. Providing a pooper scooper for the property would be a beneficial gesture, just in case.I attempted to walk my dogs out front, but the neighbor’s large labrador retriever was off-leash and approached me and my dogs. This incident discouraged me from going out front again.Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Norling Haus and fell in love with the house.
