This was our first time booking a long term stay in Mexico. We had booked this condo for a month but due to location we ended up moving after 4 days because it was just not close to anything without a car and we had been specific about asking if things were in walking distance. This does not detract from the condo itself on the inside. It is exactly as the pictures show. Spacious, decently equipped in the kitchen, clean and organized. It was the distance to anything without a car, the roof top deck and the balcony that made us decide to change locations. The balcony overlooks the Riu's water treatment center and it hums all day and all night. It is not an overly loud noise, but it it constantly there. The deck is also long but narrow so it wasn't great to sit on. The roof top photos are obviously realtor photos because it does not look like that. The fitness equipment is rusted, the fire pots are broken and one ping pong table fell apart when there was wind. The pool is nice looking. Loungers are limited. The roof top is in poor shape for the age of the building. The thing that we were most disappointed about was the location, the beach was close through the Riu but that is it, unless you have a car. There is a bus stop close which is OK but we like to walk and we specifically asked about this. Jorge was good to deal with when it was closer to arrival time. Response time was a little slow before that. It would have been nice if our questions had been addressed in some of our earlier messages. If they had, we would have been more aware of the actual location and proximity to things before selecting this condo. This has been a learning experience.
