Bay Ridge Cottage is in picturesque East Boothbay, just across Ocean Point Road from beautiful Linekin Bay. A short drive down the road is the treasure of the region, Ocean Point, a rare public access to Maine`s spectacular rocky coastline. Residents and guests can walk, run, cycle or drive a lovely 2-mile oceanfront loop called the Shore Road.

Guests will find that Bay Ridge Cottage has recently undergone a complete renovation. In addition to the kitchen, dining, living, full bath, and music rooms on the first floor with a beautiful large front porch to enjoy the natural environment!

There are 3 bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor. Bedroom one has a king-size bed, bedroom 2 has a queen-size bed, and bedroom 3 has a queen-size bed and twin bunk beds. Together, the bedrooms can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children. For the fun of it, children (or anyone else) can take advantage of the two roll-away beds (with mattresses) in the bunk house, just across the breezeway from the kitchen.

Roughly 100 yards from the house is the entrance to Linekin and Burley Preserves, two adjacent preserves that in total protect 138 wooded acres and 651 feet of waterfront. Here you can hike the nearly 3 miles of trails over a rocky ridge to the Damariscotta River. The trails wind through a forest of old hardwood and pine, and along streams and ponds, from the Linekin Bay side of the peninsula to the Damariscotta side. Virtually all the other Boothbay region’s attractions - Maine State Aquarium, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, beaches, boating, and restaurants - are only minutes away.

Just a 3 minute drive down Murray Hill Road is Linekin Bay Boat Launch where guests are welcome to launch kayaks or small personal boats. Don`t have a kayak? Contact Maine Kayak in downtown Boothbay Harbor and they can deliver a kayak straight to the property.

A Sea Maine team member will meet you upon check-in to deliver keys, give a tour of the home, and answer any questions you may have.

Instead of placing a security deposit hold on your card, we include a small, non-refundable $50 damage waiver in the reservation total—so your funds remain available throughout your trip. This Waiver covers damages up to $500.
• Quiet hours are 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM. Please respect our neighbors at all times.
• Maximum occupancy is as shown on the listing. Additional guests are subject to $25/person/night and may result in cancellation if excessive.
• A mandatory, non-refundable damage waiver is included in your reservation total in place of a security deposit. Guests remain responsible for damage exceeding coverage or resulting from negligence or rule violations.
• Pets are not allowed at this property. Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees or cancellation. ADA Compliant Service Animals are permitted.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property (indoors or outdoors).
• Open flames (fireplaces, fire pits, etc.) require prior written approval.
• No parties, events, or large gatherings without written approval.
• Waterfront/dock use (if applicable) is at your own risk and may require an additional waiver.
