Welcome to Rosewater Seaside Cottage! If you're looking for a special waterfront escape with all the comforts of home combined with Maine charm, look no further. Rosewater sits right on the edge of the bay and has incredible views of Perch Island and across the bay. Watch the Osprey, seals, and loons. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets and great light all day.

There is a private dock where you can keep a kayak or a Stand-up paddleboard. Enjoy kayaking on the calm bay water. A quiet location in East Boothbay near many attractions and downtown Boothbay Harbor's action completes the package.

Rosewater Cottage is our happy place!

This is our third time to return to Rosewater Cottage It is lovely and serene and has a special aura about it. We love to sit in the Adirondack chairs and watch the lobster boats. There is so much to do in the area- Mohegan Island, sunset schooner sails , eating great area lobster, going to the Maine botanical gardens and shopping for cute local souvenirs in Boothbay. The list is really endless. Rosewater. Cottage is our happy place!😎

Excellent Seaside Location

Cottage was very cozy with excellent location by the ocean. We could not have been happier. Location was great for touring coastal bays and light houses. We will likely rent again next year.

Charming and comfortable

Rosewater Cottage’s location is perfect - right on the edge of Linekin Bay and only a few minutes drive to Boothbay Harbor if you can pull yourself away from this charming and comfortable cottage.

This was a perfect get away! So beautiful, even if the weather didn’t cooperate.

The whole experience was perfect. The process, communication, but most important, the location itself. So serene and relaxing. We had an a amazing time.

Amazing retreat!

The views are spectacular and the cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great--so much to do yet tucked away in a quiet area. We sure hope to return.

Right on the water

We could have spent our days at the house - watching water birds, eiders and more just outside our window or lobstermen hauling in their traps. A lovely, restful cottage and close to Boothbay Harbor and boat rides, restaurants and shops. It was ideal for our family gathering.
