Really pleasing to meet new visitors to the island and enjoy the experience of sharing the environment and beauty from an easy place to stay.
Welcome to our piece of paradise😊
Great to hear accessibility is still helpful for getting around from here with walking and local transport options available easily 👍
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was beautifully presented and very clean. Super close to town and the beach and Lois is probably the most accommodating host we have ever had! She was even kind enough to leave a bottle of wine and card for my husband's birthday! Just wonderful

It was a pleasure to be able to meet and enjoy chatting with such friendly and thoughtful guests staying in the Cottage.
With busy days getting out to enjoy a first visit to Waiheke, taking care around the property and even with an early start leaving all very clean and tidy *****
It’s great to help celebrate a special birthday and make happy Waiheke memories ❤️🥳
Thanks so much for your kind and generous comments. It’s been great to host such thoughtful guest’s taking great care of the property and it’s lovely to know that it’s been so good for your experience. It would be a real pleasure to have you anytime for a return visit.
Thank you again for booking to stay in the cottage and best wishes for your year ahead.
Superb location: lush greenery from every window, lots of birdlife, but only 2 minute walk to the excellent small shops and restaurants on Ocean View Road. All the charm and retro-style of a 1940s New Zealand bach, but with modern updates and furnishings. Super stocked kitchen. Enjoyed yoga in the sun on the deck every morning followed by e-bike tours, winery visits, and hiking part of the 100km trail network. Plus quick access to Oneroa beach. A real gem.

This was the perfect spot for us to begin our 2-weeks on the north island. The location is incredibly convenient to the quaint, busy town with restaurants, shops, and beach access all in short walking distance. The ferry to the island was easy and beautiful. Very comfortable home.

Had brilliant communication with the host, and the property was perfect. The photos actually don’t do it justice it was far more spacious than represented. It is only a couple minute walk from the shops and the beach. Would highly recommend!

Thanks so much for your kind comments and it’s really appreciated.
At such a busy time of year I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the Cottage for your group of 4 and still be a bit closer to the quiet.
When you are close to the beach and the village, it is still good to be free and escape away so easily.
Old but charming house. The terrasse is very nice but it would be perfect to have comfortable chairs there. Very nice and helpful landlady.

Thanks for your great comments and it was a pleasure meeting you. Really appreciated your stay, especially leaving all in excellent order. More outside seat cushions will be useful and readily accessible for the chairs. You are very welcome anytime . Safe and happy travels 😊
My friend and myself had a great stay in this very nice bach, a stroll away from the village, with an outdoor area that gets the sun all day, and all the comfort you need for a weekend away.
The host was very helpful before and during our stay, and the house provided us with way more than the essentials.
My friend and I would definitely holiday there again !

Thanks so much for your kind words and for being such careful guests with leaving everything so tidy and clean before your departure. It’s been a pleasure to have you stay and great that you enjoyed your Easter time on the island.
Thank you for booking and choosing to stay.
You’re welcome back anytime 😊
I visited Waiheke for 3 nights as a foot passenger. Lois's property is located very close to Oneroa town centre, but in a quiet area, making it an ideal base for exploring Waiheke. The property is spacious, well equipped and clean, Lois is very friendly and helpful - she found me an extension lead so that I could charge the electric bike which I hired for 2 days (apparently it was a fiddle to remove the battery from the bike). The bed is very comfortable and the shower is also very good. The access to the property is via some quite steep steps so potentially not suitable for anyone with easy accessibility requirements.
