The Bickle Cottage is made for classic summer lake living. Mornings are quiet and calm, perfect for fishing or paddling out on the kayaks and paddleboards. Days move easily between swimming, boating activity on the lake, and relaxing by the water.

One of our favourite features is the boathouse, a fun extra space to hang out, play games, or sleep on breezy summer nights. Inside the cottage, the dining area naturally becomes the gathering spot, whether it’s shared meals, cards, games or planning the next day’s adventure.

You’re close to downtown Port Perry for ice cream runs, shopping, patios and casual dining, with plenty of nearby wineries, breweries, and live music for day trips. It’s comfortable, welcoming, and designed for making the kind of summer memories that keep you talking long after you’ve gone home.

*Leave used beds unmade *Empty your garbage and put in the outdoor shed (garbage/black bags/black bin, compost/green bin, recycling/blue bins *Leave the front courtyard, lakefront, and boathouse tidy
*Clean BBQ grill if you have used it, turn off gas, cover *Replace water gear in boathouse; cover courtyard lounge set if rain is coming *Turn down heat, A/C, fireplace, close and lock all windows

We stayed here for a weekend for our annual sisters trip. The booking was smooth, instructions were clear, and the cottage had everything we needed. Booked for two nights, so we could have a work reunion. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. The large dining table was perfect for the ten of us. Sunsets were gorgeous. Hope to get back there soon.

The Bickle cottage was lovely in every respect. It was both homey and classy. Our family and friends were perfectly accommodated in the bedrooms, large common areas and waterfront. Awesome cottage

Our stay was was great. The cottage was cozy but with a nice comfortable modern feel. The kitchen was amazing. The views of the lake from the deck were beautiful but even if you wanted to stay inside you could get a great view of the sunset. Bedrooms were all clean with nice beds. Loved how they offered canoes and kyaks aswell. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a waterfront property

Just a short drive away, Port Perry offers all the shops, cafes, and conveniences you might need—perfect for a cozy lakeside getaway with the best of both worlds.

The Bickle Cottage isn’t just a rental—it’s a family retreat that’s been loved for generations. With its lakefront views, cozy charm, and peaceful setting, it offers a true escape from the everyday. We have a private dock and bonus boathouse access in the warm weather. We are only 22.8 kms from the Great Blue Heron Casino and only 16.5 kms to beautiful shops and restaurants in historic downtown Port Perry.
