Highly recommend this charming heritage house in the beautiful town of Beechworth. The home mirrors the history of the town, providing quality, period furnishings and modern amenities. All bedrooms were beautifully appointed and beds very comfortable. The location is ideal to stroll to shops, restaurants, pubs, walks and historical landmarks. Thank you to our hosts and we hope to return another time to this lovely area and this home.
Hi guys, we had such a fantastic time in Beechworth and at Isabellas. The home ticked all boxes for me except for one thing, a gas lit fire, which took away the authentic feel I was after. Overall i would highly recommend staying here and everything else was so wonderful. Thank you
Dave
Beautiful old property with so much character and convenience, we loved the historic details and plaques that dates all the old features in the house.
We gathered for a 40th, and it was a delightful weekend in the house and the town.
Short proximity to to town and the lake, and plenty of parking and space in the house. Perfect place for group to gather.
My only consideration would be to be mindful with children or elderly because of the steep staircase in the house.
Our group of 8 girlfriends from Melbourne and Sydney took a road trip, leaving the husbands and kids behind, meeting at Isabella’s in Beechworth. Our 3 night stay was nothing short of amazing. Isabella’s is quaint and homely, beds super comfy and the addition of the little plaques on the walls in the bedroom and downstairs hallway give a wonderful in-site to the period of the building. The backyard was such a beautiful spot to sit and soak up the sun.The location is spot on! We walked everywhere. Thanks to the hosts Jen & Jess for a seamless experience.
