Love the Wisconsin countryside
Lisa was very friendly and helpful but not intrusive, went out of her way on more than one occasion to help us out and make our stay the best it could be, and keep my wife, who suffers from Alzheimer's, safe and sound.
Wonderful country farm stay. Property manager was above and beyond great, communicating throughout the stay with great recommendations and hospitality. Hope to stay here again many times!

Clean, Quiet, and Hospitable
We used this place as it is affordable for a week stay, and was centralized for us to visit family and friends in the area. We really liked the layout and enjoyed hanging out in the four seasons type room. Lisa was very friendly and accommodating, checking in with us, but just the right amount. We really enjoyed the stay AND the price was right. We will stay again in the future. Thank you Lisa, you were great!
The “apartment” is pretty adorable. It was immaculate and just the right size for my wife and me. Lisa, our host, was lovely and very solicitous of our needs. She recommended local supper club that was also adorable with super charming staff and great food. We look forward to seeing this place again in the spring.
The three of us enjoyed staying at Lisa's minifarm. Imagine driving up and meeting a tiny dog, a tabby cat, two goats, and several ducks. The unit sleeps four and has a lovely large sitting room. Lisa was very friendly and informative.

Girls weekend!
We enjoyed our stay. Quiet and peaceful farm. Lisa was very accommodating and fast responses to requests! Did day trips to nearby towns. Brought our own blackstone grill to cook since there was no stove or oven.

From the owner: "Thanks, Lisa. Glad you enjoyed your stay! I am contemplating a small oven and cooktop for the future. Great idea to bring the grill!"
We had a great stay during a small family reunion. The host and her team were extremely welcoming and friendly, each playing their role to a T!
Lisa was a great communicator, Ron & Skip (the goats) fabulous greeters, August (the cat) kept us humble, and Percy (the dog) made sure we were always welcome!
Great location to get away from it all! We will be back!

Lisa's Farm
We enjoyed a few quiet days at Lisa's farm in isolated western Wisconsin. The unit has a comfortable twin bedroom and very spacious bathroom. I really liked her sitting room. Do you like animals? We were welcomed by a small and yappy dog. She has several large ducks, two goats and three cats.
Lisa is very welcoming and will be glad to tell you about her farm.

From the owner: "Thank you, Anne. We enjoyed having you here and watching Fireflies with your daughter. I hope you meant happy and not yappy for Percy, our dog. He loves to greet people and accepts any amount of belly rubs!"

Girls birthday weekend
It was a dark and rainy night. The women turned onto a long driveway lined by trees . Soon a log cabin appeared in the forest. Quickly they jumped out of the car. One of them picked the lock on the door. They pushed their way into the house and to their surprise they found they were in a beautiful little home for their weekend . A large open living room with plenty of windows to view the surrounding hardwood forest and wild flowers. Comfortable beds and a large modern bath room with large shower and tub. Just what the women wanted. A supper club was on the menu for Birthday dinner . Shady grove restaurant filled the bill perfectly The next day was spent checking out the floodwaters and a self directed cheese tour. That evening was spent reading some of the many wild life books and catching up on some tv. Our host instantly provided missing supplies Was fun to talk to. A wonderful time.

Country lovers paradise
For my husband and I, this was absolutely perfect! The apartment itself was clean, beautiful with views out the living room window In early October that were stunning. We enjoyed the company of the 2 friendly goats, Ron and Skip, as well as a visit from Auggie, the orange cat and sweet little Percy, the dog..but mostly our host, Lisa, whom we found delightful and were sad when it came time to say goodbye. This is rather remote, which suites us to a t, but may not be for the city lover, so if you are not a nature or animal lover, you may want to consider something else. We, however, loved it and were very comfortable here. Beds were good, plenty of covers on the bed and towels in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, the shower is amazing and my husband spent a few hours over our 4 day stay lounging in the huge spa tub with plenty of hot water. A beautiful room, it is, as well as rhe rest of the rather large..far larger than expected..apartment. Also, the back roads of Western Wisconsin are like being in a gentle version of Vermont this time of year. .. Breathtakingly beautiful! Loved it! Planning to go back about the same time next year.
