The cottage sits on five acres along the banks of the Boardman River, a blue-ribbon trout stream nestled deep in the woods of the Pere Marquette State Forest.

This home can accommodate eight guests, includes 3-queen beds, 2-single beds in two bedrooms, 2.5-bathrooms, and a spacious open kitchen, dining, and living area with a wood-burning fireplace. It has its own private river frontage and also adjoins state land, providing additional river frontage and hiking trails. Guests can enjoy activities such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing, inner-tubing, swimming, fishing, fly fishing, morel mushrooming, bird watching, and snowshoeing. Cozy River also has a charcoal grill and fire pit available to enjoy the outdoor natural surroundings.

Located 1.8 miles from the Supply Road Snowmobile and ORV staging area and trails. It is two miles to the VASA Singletrack Trailhead for fat tire biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and hiking. Drive three miles to Ranch Rudolph horseback riding trails, and 10.2 miles to Flint Fields for the Horses by the Bay Horse Show.
