When designing a sustainable, long term dream home, we decided to tick a lot of the boxes. An absolutely one of a kind space for entertaining; well appointed layout, large windows with solar gains, a kitchen for those who love to cook, generous oceanfront patio, exercise space, beautiful sound system, toys & things for kids, 1 acre of land, private parking, attached garage, & an entire beach at your doorstep, to savour.
We are also located in the Heart of Gros Morne National Park. The Town of Norris Point, and this homes location, are just stunning. The difference is in the details we believe & we think our guest's will feel them right away.

About the host
Your host
Globe trotting, adventure seeking, life loving, business owning, impassioned health promoter, massage therapist and yoga teacher, wife...AND, Mother to Sophia. My husband, Peter and I strive to abide by that perfect work/life balance. He & I are the passionate, outdoor adventuring types, who live to laugh and have fun, make things and use our hands and creative juices, garden & produce our own food, discover music, enjoy delicious foods, and to flex creatively in the kitchen together; and especially, to live surrounded by the goodness of great people, and daydream of trips, to experience other amazing parts of the world and its people.
Why they chose this property
When we dreamed the design for this home we deeply took into consideration the elements and coastal seaside environment, in which we live. We designed a space that captures the very best comforts and enjoyment that the Summer season here brings, but also, we put a great deal of thought to maximize the space to bring comfort, warmth and convenience to Winter living. Of the three short term rental accommodations that we own and operate here, in Norris Point, we are fortunate to have three of the only properties in our entire region that capture the essence of true beachfront living. Each of our homes have unobstructed, full access to oceanfront, and sand beaches. We are the perfect choice for the culmination of your Newfoundland holiday memories and real moments, in the company of your family or friends. With all three properties being in close proximity to one another, we provide the ultimate situation for family gatherings or reunions. Allowing you the comfort of your own space and quiet, balanced with that desire for togetherness and cherishing special moments.
What makes this property unique
With our proximity to the passenger ferry that connects Woody Point and Norris Point, you are conveniently linked between the north and south sides of the Gros Morne National Park. This leaves you the convenience of hopping on the passenger ferry by foot, or with your rented e-bike from the local business operator "just up the road", and having the best of both worlds of this phenomenal place, within easy reach. A 15min ferry ride across Bonne Bay vs avoiding an hour long drive to get to the town of Woody Point. As well, with our beachfront location we are the ideal place to enjoy everything that being on the ocean, allows for like: beach bonfires, swimming in 18-20 degree summer water temps, beach combing and beach strolling, as well as sunset vistas and the opportunity to spot whales and many species of birds that frequent this diverse and special place.
