The Surroundings
This unique place is surrounded by trees, cows and crop fields, and is a short drive to many beautiful lakes and beaches. Enjoy all what the country has to offer. In summer enjoy swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golfing, hiking and biking. In winter skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing. We are located in Lake Country in the summer and Ski Country in the winter. So much to explore in the surrounding areas of Orillia, Midland, Coldwater, Barrie and all the little places in between. Ideal for family or friends get-togethers, small weddings, sport, yoga and meditation enthusiasts, or those that seek private and quiet environment.
The House
House offers chef style kitchen, drinking water, gas stove,2 spacious bathrooms, 2 wood burning fireplaces, outdoor shower, TV, cast iron pans, spices, plenty of comfortable sitting, covered gazebo, 2 outdoor fire pits, gas and charcoal BBQ, property trails, hammock, hardware for outdoor stew, pool and ping pong table, 2 large outdoor tables with benches, firewood
There are 4 sleeping areas and two complete bathrooms, one outdoor trailer .Guests will have access to the peaceful enjoyment of strolling around the property. Animals are not allowed on beds or furniture. Please clean any spills immediately. Cleaning supplies along with broom, mop and vacuum cleaner can be found in the broom closet in the kitchen. We have a septic system, so please do not flush sanitary products or diapers down the toilets. Use the garbage cans provided.
No guests unless specified during booking. No visitors unless they are included in your booking, everyone attending the property must be included in the booking, No visitors.
Other Things To Note
Please, no excessive noise after 11pm outside, no revving of the car engines late at night as to be respectful to the neighbors, even though they’re around 300 yards far away.
To prevent bugs, flies, and other forest critters from entering the house please keep the doors on the cottage closed at all times, as it is in a forested area.
After dusk, please keep the outdoor lights turned on outdoors and turn the inside lights off when they are not it use.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, plates and cutlery, basic cooking pots and pans.
The small pond on the property is not suitable for swimming; however, the closest beach is only a 10 min, drive. A bike rental shop and the Horseshoe valley ski resort, with its activities, is only a 5 min drive away.
No fireworks or smoking indoors, pets only with permission, no repositioning or moving furniture, outdoor BBQ, or fire pits. No drinking and driving. Upon departure, the house, dishes, and property are to be left clean.
