The location and amenities were fantastic. Comfy bed and great views from the large windows. Secure parking was a bonus, for sure! Host was easy to reach and communicate with. Rental was tidy, but not as clean as I'd expected. (I did communicate this privately with host - no refund offered.) Access to apartment is not a huge hassle-but also not convenient if you arrive before check in time. The apartment was VERY warm; a portable ac unit in the living room was available, though.

Love this apartment, so clean, includes all the comforts of home, super comfy bed, loads of linens, kitchen and amenities were a huge plus. We’re extremely pleased with host and would definitely stay here again. Loads of information provided, once sorting out parking and entry to unit, we were set for a great mini getaway.

We booked for 3 nights but checked out after the first night. The place was uncomfortably hot. There was a portable a/c unit that just could not keep up. Even with the shades drawn and the unit running all night. The pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance and we were not notified of this prior to our arrival. This was one of the reasons that we booked this place. Location was close to the venue we were attending however, unsure the safety of the area. A bit annoying that when we went to pick up the key at the convenience store down the street it was closed while the worker left the store. Not the host's fault but not the most convenient check in process. We contacted the host to let them know that we decided to check out early and after a couple hours, he responded and offered to bring another mobile a/c unit. He did not address the question about getting a partial refund even though we had already deposited the key. There was no follow up or apology, surprise or remorse about the situation. It felt like bad communication and customer service. I would not stay here again.

We always strive to provide a comfortable and seamless experience for our guests, and we are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. ​To clarify a few points for future guests: ​- Temperature Control: Our property utilizes a portable A/C unit, and we always keep an additional backup unit ready. When you messaged about the temperature, we responded within 45 minutes to offer to bring the second unit immediately to resolve the issue. - The Pool & Hot Tub: Like any building amenity, the pool occasionally undergoes necessary maintenance. As noted in our listing description, we highly encourage guests to message us prior to booking if the pool is a deciding factor for their stay so we can check the maintenance schedule for them. - ​Check-in & Location: While the brief closure of the neighborhood convenience store was unfortunately outside of our control, our property is located in a vibrant, downtown urban area. It features standard city surroundings but is entirely safe and highly convenient for local events. ​We pride ourselves on quick communication and always aim to find solutions. We responded to your initial message with a solution before the keys were returned, and because a simple fix was readily available to make the rest of your stay comfortable, we were unable to offer a partial refund after you chose to depart. ​We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your future travels.
