Cabin was clean and relatively easy to get to. Host was extremely responsive with a few questions we had during our visit.

We stayed for a few nights with our pup to visit the Berkeley Springs area and enjoy some nature walks. We enjoyed bright peaceful mornings with the beautiful views from the deck, listening to birds and watching chipmunks hop around. There was plenty of firewood for the stove to make for cozy evenings. However, given the cost, we expected the cabin to be a little more comfortable and better maintained.

Wonderful Stay

What a great get away spot. Spent a few days at this well stocked cabin in Great Cacapon and it was perfect. Quiet and close to great hikes, perfect spot to unwind and unplug, even in rainy weather.

Secluded Getaway

My wife and I had a great stay at the cabin. It’s incredibly remote and peaceful. The deck and view of the valley are amazing. Awesome place!

The perfect getaway

This cabin was just what I was looking for: cozy, beautiful, dog friendly, a great view! The place looked just like the pictures. The host was very friendly and made sure we got in okay. This getaway was a perfect, relaxing reset, and it was extra special to have our pup with us! Highly recommend.

We've been staying at this cabin with friends for nearly a decade, from when there was a previous owner to now. I was lucky enough to find this listing after so long, and we couldn't wait to book it for our anniversary. ]It's a great place for forced relaxation, fresh air, and privacy. It's also my favorite place to introduce new friends to in this area- until next time!

Quiet Getaway

This cabin was exactly what we needed to decompress and relax in nature. Walking along the trails near the cabin was easy and perfect for a small weekend retreat. The cabin was stocked with all kitchen necessities and the wood stove provided a nice touch on a cold evening. We stayed in the winter but the front screened porch would be ideal to relax in the spring and summer.

Cabin in the mountains

Exceptional, highly recommend. As soon as you walk up those stairs and take in the view, the world melts away. Such a peaceful, tranquil stay. The cabin has everything you can need and the surrounding area is breath taking. I was rained out one day and spent the afternoon in the screened porch listening to the rain on the tin roof. Will definitely return

cozy cabin with a view

We enjoyed our stay. It is cozy but a great view. We liked the wood burning stove. We brought our own wood. There was some wood on the property but needed to be split. Back deck and front screen porch are very nice. Instructions to get in and out of the property were clear and easy. We look forward to returning. Thank you, Greg Richards

Had a fantastic stay here! Absolutely gorgeous views, very secluded, and incredible cabin. Loved spending time out on the two porches, and the view from the loft was just incredible to wake up to. Perfect for my solo getaway, but would also be a great spot for partners/small families! Definitely want to come back again, especially to see what it’s like in the fall. Cannot recommend enough to anyone looking for a gorgeous spot with everything you could need to spend time up in the rural mountains of West Virginia!
