Welcome to the Jensen Surf Shack, a gorgeous 3 bedroom home, within walking distance to shops and cuisine of Downtown Jensen Beach and only one mile to the Jensen Beach Bridge to Hutchinson Island and its many beaches. If you stay during one of the many local festivals or markets, you won’t have to worry about parking, because you can walk.

Fully remodeled throughout, in a relaxed, comfortable beach style, with a private fenced backyard, patio with picnic table, grille and separate fire-pit area with Adirondack seating. Great for a family BBQ.



PET POLICY: We welcome 1 pet under 25 lbs. Please disclose type and size of pets PRIOR to booking. Upon approval a pet fee will be added.



Located in Jensen Beach, FL of Martin County, on the Treasure Coast, where shorelines boast miles of gorgeous beaches and natural sand dunes. Jensen Beach, a favorite nesting place for loggerhead sea turtles, is officially called Jensen Sea Turtle Beach. The beach is on the edge of the world famous Hutchinson Island & the Atlantic Ocean. The property is only 1 mile from the Jensen Beach Bridge to Hutchinson Island and it’s gorgeous beaches.



Within walking distance to Downtown Jensen Beach, offering an array of cuisine with many restaurants to choose from. Weekly festival events bring live music, local artists and street vendors to Downtown Jensen Beach. Visit the art cottages with working artist studios.



Nearby Historic Downtown Stuart offers boutique shopping, waterfront restaurants, galleries, the Stuart Heritage Museum and walks on the scenic Riverwalk boardwalk on the St. Lucie River. Live entertainment can be found on the Riverwalk waterfront stage.



Visit nearby Jensen Beach Causeway Park, boasting many picnic pavilions, public boat launch facilities, playground, restrooms, fishing piers, beaches on the Indian River, great for kayaking, windsurfing and jet skiing. Great public place to fish and watch the most stunning sunsets!



We have installed a new AC system as of August 2024!!



We provide a starter set of supplies, with an initial travel size supply of shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, coffee, towels and toilet paper. Should this not be enough for your entire stay, you may need to purchase additional supplies. You are welcome to use the washing machine & dryer at any time throughout your stay.



The Manatee House is managed by iTrip Treasure Coast.

We had a fantastic stay at The Manatee House for my cousin's wedding at the mansion. Excellent indoor space, relaxing outdoor space, and very convenient location near restaurants, grocery stores, shopping district, beaches, etc. Host was very responsive. We would definitely return - thanks again!

Wonderful Stay!

This house was very nice, clean, and just as described. Travis and Karen made check in very simple. The neighborhood was quiet. There was plenty of room for my family. The fenced backyard was great for our small dog. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would book this property again!

Breathtaking beauty...

My wife and i finally enjoyed a beautiful vacation together, with an AMAZING place to stay for awhile... the cleanliness, the brightness, and the calmness of the Manatee House was a true turn around instead of being cooped up in ANY hotel room... we definitely will book our next vacay in one of Travis and Karens rental houses....

Wonderful Home in Jensen Beach

We stayed for the month of January in Manatee House in Jensen Beach. Although the weather was cooler than normal for 2 of those weeks, the house was great. It is very clean and well-furnished. Our dog, Bella, loved the fenced-in backyard where she could play catch-the-frisbee. It is very close to downtown Jensen Beach and a short drive to the beaches on Hutchinson Island. We enjoyed many beautiful sunsets while sitting in the backyard. We will definitely return to Manatee House the next time we need to escape the Midwest Winters.

Manatee House, Jensen Beach

This is an excellent rental property. Close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Excellent dining nearby. House was very clean, appliances are all new and in excellent condition. Master shower is a long run from the hot water heater so it takes a while to heat up, but it's a small inconvenience. Travis and Karin were wonderful, handled any of our questions quickly! We've gone ahead and booked another property already for next year, that's the confidence we have with them.

Charming House

The Manatee house was wonderful. Exceptionally clean! Close to downtown Jensen Beach area with restaurants and pubs. Short drive to beach. Safe quiet neighborhood. My only concern was the air conditioner system was complicated. Had a difficult time adjusting the air temperature. Similar to Nest system but I was not familiar with their thermostat so it made it challenging to keep cool. Highly recommended staying here!

Fantastic getaway

The Manatee House was even more than what we had hoped for. Everything we could have needed was available. The appliances were new, high end LG products. The beds were comfortable too! Karin and Travis checked in on us after the first couple of days to be sure everything was ok and that we didn't need anything. I really appreciated their attention. There is lots going on in Downtown Jensen, especially on Thursday nights....food, crafts, vendors, live music. Manatee House was a great location, beautifully appointed, and very convenient to anything you would want. Thanks very much to Karin and Travis.
