Cozy and sweet

We loved Southern Pines and the location of the property with access to the state park across the street and proximity to downtown Souther Pines. For us this was the ideal location for us.

Great spot in beautiful Southern Pines

This is a lovely home in the heart of Southern Pines with everything we needed to bring in the New Year! The Pottery Barn-inspired decor is super comfy, and the well-equipped kitchen was perfect for making home-cooked meals. We hope to return!

Quant stay

Lil' Red was a quant little house in a perfect location in Southern Pines. Visiting family in the area, the house gave us ample space to relax during our stay.

Loving home

The house has a warm lived in feeliing making it feel like home. Nice rooms and furniture thru out. Owners accommodated us making it easer to get ready for our daughters wedding.

Great location, clean and comfortable

Our son and his family live near to this home we are so excited to have a place close to them! We will be repeat renters!! Lots of sleeping options comfortable beds, extremely neat and well decorated. Spacious and comfortable.

Perfect Stay

Loved the home! Decor was beautiful. Felt like home away from home! Great location. The added touch of fresh flowers were so sweet. The only thing that I would change would be to add a TV in any bedroom for the littles to watch because papaw bored them with news and football when they couldn’t go outside!

Nice home

A few minor issues, such as a broken coffee maker, broom, which were mostly solved(new broom was quickly brought over, not a coffee maker. There is a keurig to use if you buy or bring your own pods)The heat/air conditioning was still not working. Not sure if the programable thermostat needed adjustment or that too many guests tried to reprogram it, but it was never working right. It is a nice house, very clean and the location to downtown Southern Pines is also a plus. Quiet neighborhood with room for 2 cars in the front, walkable to trails at Weymouth Woods.

Great Girls Weekend

We are three former college roommates who are now grandmothers in our 60’s. We are very particular. This was our second stay. Good communication from Evolve. Check in was extremely easy. House was pretty clean. Need to clear out cob webs in the stairwell. One of us is a nurse who is extremely concerned about germs. She suggested liquid hand soap at each sink and paper towels at each sink. Hand towels hold germs. As we suggested during our last review, the bed linens need updating. Overall, we were happy and will return next fall.

Decent location

Pros: Good location. House had all necessities. good wifi. Parking was great. Close proximity to BHawk distillery Property manager was attentive Cons: The bedroom and bathroom linens were dirty with dog and human hair, and visible dirt. There were dirty dishes. Some things had chips and others were warped The living room furniture was pretty dirty. The sofa had large stains, rivets missing from ottoman and there was a pet urine smell that lingered. Backyard porch had several nailheads that popped out about an inch or so and uneven planks ( a bit dangerous).

Cute with some disparities

Overall, the house was great and convenient to all of our needs (visiting family in a nearby town). There was a fun equestrian theme throughout, and the 1st floor bedroom was a nice change of pace. The downsides for us included having a local, corporate representative rather than a private home owner. We also found dirty kitchenware upon our arrival (I pre-scrubbed 4 pans with oil still stuck to them) and mold in the fridge water dispenser. There was dust caked on the air vents and even the kitchen trash can was quite broken. Last, the Welcome Binder notes were written on scrap paper and some info within differed from the online instructions (re: check-out requirements), so we clarified with the local contact. Upon checkout, we also discovered unlocked windows (yet according to the check-out requirements, they should’ve been locked before departure, so who checked them before our arrival?). Just some inconsistencies that lacked with the overall appearance and feel of this cute house.

My wife and I enjoyed our time here. Close (mostly walkable) to downtown SP. The house is comfortable and ideal for small families or a few couples. Great location to access golf courses in the area.
