Once you set foot in this spacious townhouse, you'll know you have arrived in the ideal location. The living room offers casual yet comfy seating, and the sofa folds out to a double bed. Beach photos and sea turtles adorn the walls, making it easy to switch from a city to a seaside mindset. A large smart TV provides entertainment at your command.

Step through the sliding glass doors to a private outdoor space. A glass-topped table with seats for six is great for al fresco meals in the freshening sea air, and you can recline in the sun when the hammock is free. There's even a gas grill where your group can cook up communal dinners.

The contemporary kitchen borders the living room, making it easy to converse with others in your group during meal prep and cleanup. Take a stroll or bike ride to nearby Jaycee Park. You'll find walking and cycling trails along a lovely, meandering waterway, lighted athletic fields, a children's playground and a pavilion. It's a great place to picnic on your way to the beach or enjoy a refreshing jog at sunset.

Fort Screven is also near North Beach. This historic coastal defense station dates to 1897. It is named after General James Screven, a notable in the Revolutionary War. The fort's official mandate was to safeguard the mouth of the Savannah River from invaders, which it fulfilled until the end of World War II. The fort's Battery Garland once held munitions, but since the mid-20th century, it has housed museum exhibits. Fort Screven also boasts the Tybee Post Theater, which underwent renovation and reopening in 2015. Now, you can attend movies and concerts there.

Stop by the Fort Screven Guardhouse, originally a jail but now converted to the Tybee Island Community Center. Be sure to swing by Officer's Row as well, one of the island's swankiest neighborhoods.

The 145-foot Tybee Light Station is impossible to miss from the North Beach parking lot. The first iteration of this historic structure dates to 1736, and the current edifice was built in 1773. Climb the 178 steps to the observation deck and drink in the sights. During the summer months, you can see both sunrise and sunset from atop the Light Station.

While enjoying the area, be sure to walk along the Savannah River trail. It's a great place to see a wealth of native flora and fauna. Dolphin sightings are frequent, so it's likely you'll catch glimpses of these playful mammals sporting in the current. You can also view the big freighters headed to the Port of Savannah.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to Southern Belle's heated pool that is located on Tybee Island at 19 Silver Ave. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island. The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1- Oct 31, Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm
November 1 - February 28, Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm
Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

Guests with Pets
If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. Please contact the Southern Belle office for more details.

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.
