Waterfront Muskoka Cottage

A well maintained waterfront Muskoka cottage, minutes from the town of Baysville, nestled in the trees will all the amenities needed to house two families comfortably. Crystal clear water - no weeds, soft sandy entry and a beach (great for kids to play and swim). Large dock with 6-8 ft depth off the end. Great fishing off the dock with a large rock fire pit and Muskoka chairs to enjoy the beautiful stars at night. Lots of water toys to enjoy, including a Paddle board, Kayak and Paddle-boat + life jackets for adults and children. Large wrap around deck with ample seating, a picnic table for outdoor dining and a brand new BBQ. Inside offers up a two story living area. On the main floor you have an open concept kitchen with a large dining area. Cozy living area with electric fireplace, large flat screen TV and all the movies and board games you'll need. Upstairs you'll find 3 bedrooms, and a bathroom which has a bathtub/shower combination.

If your looking to rent a cottage this one is a must. Pictures are very accurate and the view is even better in person. The cottage and surroundings are very well kept & organized. I inquired about the depth of water for fishing & was responded to prompty with the information I required. We loved our stay and would definitely rent again . Thank you Patrick & Ashley!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the property, the cottage and the Baysville and Dorset areas. My kids loved playing in the shallow water with sandy bottom and using all the water toys provided. There are life jackets of all sizes, lots of tubes and floaties, a floating volleyball net, a huge floating island, a pedal boat, one adult and one kid kayak, and a stand up paddle board. The swimming is great off the dock and the water was so warm! The kitchen is well stocked and the cottage is nicely decorated, clean and well cared for. The host is extremely responsive, helpful and nice! Thank you Patrick and family for the great stay!

Wonderful Family Vacation!

My family had an amazing week. The cottage set up, dock, and walk-in beach were perfect for two families with small children. I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage and location!

Canada Day Long Weekend

Had a wonderful stay over the long weekend with our friends. The cottage was clean and included everything we needed for our stay. We spent most of our time on the beautiful dock, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. We also took advantage of the kayak, standup paddle board and paddleboat that were included.

A very pleasant surprise

One of the best cottages on the muskokas, perfect for a group of adults or for two families. The place came very well prepared and stocked which made the experience incredibly pleasant. The dock especially is really nice and enjoyable.

Beautiful cottage

The cottage/property are beautiful. Make sure you are prepared as it's on the side of a steep hill so it has plenty of stairs to be walking up and down and the laneway is on a big hill as well. That is the only thing that took me by surprise. Otherwise, everything was absolutely beautiful and a fantastic family getaway. Our son who is 6 years old even learned how to kayak with his big sister and cousin

Friends getaway

My husband and I took our teenage kids and some of their friends for a short summer getaway. We selected this property for it's location and for the bedroom setup. Having 4 kids sleeping in each bedroom was ideal for us. The house was exactly as described. It was very clean and was well equipped. The water toys were a big plus as there was something for everyone to enjoy. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend and would consider coming here again.

Just the perfect family cottage on a nicely sized lake. We brought the boat, the lake is amazing for tubing and watersports. The cottage itself was awesome, the kitchen is well equipped and beautifully redesigned. The main floor is cozy and worked really well for our family, the weather was perfect, so we didn't use it much, but it was ideal for what we needed. The bedroom situation was also epic. With us and 6 kids between the ages of 4&19, the bunk room (6 beds) and the room at the front (3 beds) were perfect. Opening all the windows upstairs is a must! We had great weather, so had a nice cool breeze flowing through the house, but it's nicely shaded, so I imagine the breeze would always be nice. The water equipment/toys/boats were a great addition to the cottage, we utilized pretty much everything. Our toddler loved playing at the little beach, and we felt super comfortable with her playing in the shallow water as the dock/floating island contains the area nicely. The fire pit is also amazing, looking out over the lake, with the sunset in the background, it was a great way to wind down each night. Having the fire wood on sight was also a huge plus! Communication with the hosts was easy and they were very responsive! There is a pair of loons on the lake as well, which was a nice Canadian bonus!
These guys will come visit you at the fire! Also they will check out your recycling, just making sure you're sorting properly!

The "cottage life" is something we've cherished and enjoyed for many years growing up, and now that we finally have a cottage of our own, we want to share it with you and your families.

Our cottage offers the peace and quite that one looks for when heading north to be on a lake. Together with a large firepit, wrap around deck with large windows and glass railings - you can see the gorgeous lake from all vantage points. Our lake is crystal clear and does not have a lot of boat traffic. The neighbouring cottages are far enough away that you have the privacy and tranquility that you expect in a lake house getaway. Our cottage is well maintained and we've done our best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. All that we ask is that you treat our lake house as it if it was your own.

The sandy entry into the lake, makes it a great experience for little kids to swim and play both in and out of the water. Enjoy the kayak, paddle board and paddle boat during your stay and for those who love to fish, there are ample small mouth bass, sunfish and some perch to be caught right off the dock at both dusk and dawn.
