Spend your days in the fun and sun at Sand Hollow State Park, head to Zion or St. George to check out Ultra marathons in the area, and be sure to return for some time to soak in scenic mountain views from the patio. Good location. It’d be nice to have a few additional kitchen items. Cooking sheet, and a laundry soap supply to name a few. The living room chair has a very loose leg, so might want to take care of that.

Very clean, nice decor, comfortable beds. Unfortunately there were no “complimentary toiletries” as listed. And VERY limited supplies even for a short stay. The store wa convenient to get to, just wish I knew ahead of time to bring my own trash bags and toilet paper.

The house was basic. The stay was the basement of a house with 2 other seperate living spaces, total of 3 spaces within the house. The communication was trying. You do not communicate with VRBO. There is a 3rd party that is the middle man between you and the host. I missed the email with Evolve (3rd party) so it was stressful figuring out info to enter the basement. The walk way to enter was off the driveway on loose gravel and then there were steps entering location. May be hard for elderly to walk. There was no hand soap, detergent for clothes washer, and I did not find the 1st aid kit. The coffee maker was broke and we messaged to get replaced but it did not happen. The location was convenient to zion and hiking. I feep they should have had basic amenities like soap, ect. The kitchen garbage was small and we were asked to wash dishes and take out trash but there was no dishsoap, but a literally drop and no trash bags. I did not like the communication. I am used to communicating through the VRBO app or directly with host. They should communicate that Evovle is who will be emailing you instructions on house.

Good but not enough

We are a little torn about this rental... The Pros: located 30 minutes from Springdale, the entrance to Zion Park and 1 hour from Kanab's Peek-a-Boo Canyon; comfortable beds, clean bathroom/toilet, enough bath towels, washer and dryer on site, coffee maker with pods on site, fairly quiet space around, and inside also for us because there were no neighbors above us. The Cons: we did not know that it was an apartment in a basement, not very clear to access it especially when you arrive after dark, Outside: it is not practical to access with heavy suitcases from the parking lot to the steps because there are stones and the solar lights did not work, cushions of the garden furniture partially missing and dirty, the outdoor coffee table had a crooked leg. View spoiled by a mini power plant which could be partially obscured by a privacy screen made of flowers and cactus and other objects. Interior: A small armchair on which we did not dare to sit because one leg was crooked, the plastic curtain of the front door is broken, lack of kitchen utensils, found a saucepan, a frying pan and greasy knives; there is no small serving trolley to put a cutting board on for cooking or drying the dishes which are done at home, moreover there are no towels to dry them. Finally, there is a lack of those little attentions that make you feel at home or expected: like hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, tissues, a snack or fruit,.. which others offer and that makes more than a little difference ;)

We don’t find the nice blue outdoor sofa we saw in the VRBO ad

Some minor fixes would make a huge difference.

This place says 6 could sleep there but pullout will definitely only fit two kids. The pullout fits three sitting up and then there’s one sitting chair with a broken leg in the living room. There’s one towel bar pulling out of the wall in the bathroom for everyone’s towel and no hand towels. No kitchen towels, no laundry detergent even though it says it’s provided and it’s one very small trash can for the kitchen. Also, there’s one small keurig with a removable pod that was dirty. Whoever is cleaning this place isn’t cleaning well, hair in the shower and the table wasn’t even wiped off.

Nice place, some hiccups

We enjoyed the property, good size, seems well cared for. We did have some problems with check in, as well as some confusion with the property. There was unfortunately an error in the cleaners schedule and when we arrived 2 hours after check in time, the property wasn't cleaned from previous guests. The property contact was able to get cleaners to come while we ate, but did not apologize for inconvenience or really communicate much. The cleaners apologized, but I think because they were rushed, things weren't cleaned as thourough. In addition, the pictures of the property show the entire house, but do not specify that the property we stayed in was actually a basement apartment and accessed by stairs on the outside. Not sure if guests upstairs or owners, but lots of walking noise above. Overall, we were pleased with the property, but could have been better with those adjustments.

Cozy basement apartment

Overall we enjoyed our stay and will consider returning. Pros - clean, new property, well maintained, good communication. Cons - higher fees than I’m used to (insurance fees?), and being in the basement with loud guests or children upstairs was disturbing at times.

Nice Stay

This property is a great location and surrounded by beautiful mountains. The place is the downstairs apartment of a complex that also has two other units. The place has everything i needed with a large TV and a comfortable bed after a long day of hiking. My one concern i brought to the owner was that there were several blinds missing on the sliding door so you could never have full privacy in the living room/kitchen. But the unit faces the back so there’s no one that would technically be back there. She said she would check it out.

Zion vacation

The house was very clean. The bedrooms and bathroom spacious. The neighborhood was nice. The location was great- close to groceries and restaurants and an easy half hour drive to Zion and there was a nice regional park for walking and biking nearby. However a few things were pretty disappointing. The kitchen had extremely limited counter space for preparing meals. The kitchen trash bin is tiny and only two garbage bags provided. No extra paper towel and only one extra toilet paper provided. If you stay plan on buying these items yourself which is a bummer and unusual. The unit is in the basement and you could hear everything from the guests above. We arrived at night and it was hard to find the entry to the unit. The only entrance to the unit is a sliding glass patio door. Some of the vertical blinds were missing. We had to struggle for quite a while to get into the unit, the key would not turn. The next day we couldn’t get it to work at all and couldn’t get the door locked. A locksmith came and replaced the lock eventually but we had to leave the unit unlocked for two days which felt very uncomfortable The local guest contact was very nice and very responsive. I liked her a lot.

Nice little home

Everything was great, nice little home turned into apartments in a nice area with a great view. Only reason I'm leaving 4 star review is instructions for thermostat use were confusing and we had to buy a broom and few dish cloths to tidy up when leaving, and the blinds over the sliding glass door were broke (missing slats). Other than that I'd for sure rent again

This property was in the perfect location for traveling to Zion National park. There is a grocery store near by with local eateries that are just fantastic! Definitely book this property if you are looking to visit Zion National park and stay the weekend!

The location was great and easy to get to and close to town, grocery store and main roads. Bed was very comfortable. TV was great. The house was clean and well stocked with towels. A few things that was not working, etc:No hot water in the shower. I did contact the contact person and they had me check the temp on the hot water tanks. When I increased it, it still not heat up (only luke warm in the shower only). THey were able to send a maintaince man out who fixed the shower fixture and took off a part that was preventing it from turning up to the hot. So this issue was fixed. There was no soap in the shower or bathroom, no extra trash bags, no kitchen towels, sliding glass door was hard to lock/unlock, parking was not clearly marked since we were sharing the driveway with two other residents, hard to find where we entered when we first arrived and it was dark. Missing a few kitchen items, wine opener, wine glasses. Unfortunalely the view from the patio was of a power plant. Upstairs guests were loud and you could hear them walking around. Chair leg was broken. Two diffent wifi passwords, but wifi did work well.
